Naruto Senju: Ascendance of the King

Chapter 1

10 years later

"Hey perv," said Naruto Senju, "Why are we going to the village anyways?"

Over the years, Naruto had grown into a fine young man and a finer shinobi. He had spiky, sun kissed blonde hair, slightly tanned skin, cerulean azure blue eyes and 3 whisker marks adorned each of his cheeks.

Just like Hiruzen had predicted on the fated night of the 9 tails attack, Jiraiya had trained Naruto to the level of a low ranking Chunin, he was high C-Rank, low B-Rank.

"Well Naruto, you remember old man Hokage right?" responded Jiraiya in the form of a question.

"Yeah," said Naruto

"Well since you want to be a ninja and your a citizen of Konohagakure, the old man said he wanted you to go the ninja academy for at least one year."

"Oh, ok," said Naruto, "Do you think they'll teach me anything useful?"

"Nope," said Jiraiya, "We already went through the full Academy curriculum by the time you were 7."

"So why do I have to go to the Academy then?" asked Naruto quizzically. "Won't it just be a waste of a year since you could teach me something I'd actually use?"

"That's what I said to the old man, but he told me that he had a special mission for me that would last about a year and a half."

"Damn," said Naruto, "Anyways will you take me to the old man's office or will you drop me off here?"

The two were in front of the village gates.

"Yo Naruto, let's use the Shunshin no Jutsu to the window of his and then jump in,"

"Won't it give him a heart attack?" asked Naruto with a mischievous smirk.

Jiraiya gave a hearty chuckle and then he disappeared in a puff of smoke. Naruto followed in suit, disappearing in the same way.

They appeared right on the walls outside of the window and then they jumped in. They were shocked to see Hiruzen reading the latest Icha Icha Paradise Jiraiya had made.

"Hey old man, didn't know you were a perv," said Naruto cheekily.

"A-ah, I-I was just ch-checking w-what my student was writing about. Y-yeah that's it."

Naruto nodded slyly, both of them knowing he wasn't convinced and Jiraiya gave a chuckle.

"Anyways Naruto, it's time for you to go to the Academy, it's about 5 minutes north from here, have a nice first day. I need to discuss something with Jiraiya over here."

Naruto nodded and disappeared in a blur.

Hiruzen put away the dirty book and faced Jiraiya. He immediately dismissed his ANBU and did a couple of hand seals and performed the Privacy Seal, so that no one could hear what they were saying except for the 2.

"So my student," said Hiruzen, "What exactly have you taught this kid?"

"Well I've taught him everything he'd learn in the Academy except for the Clone Jutsu because his chakra pool is way too big so I taught him the Shadow Clone Jutsu. As you know, he is half Senju, half Uzumaki so I taught him the One Thousand Fists Taijutsu and the Toad Kata and he combined the two.

He uses Water and Earth. Also... he has the Shodaime's famed Wood Style. I suppose it came from Minato's Senju side. He learnt some basic control over wood and right now he's extended it to control over nature and he mastered them. I  went to visit Tsunade and she gave me some Wood Style Jutsus which he absorbed with ease. However Tsunade still doesn't know about him. I said it was for Yamato. I also taught him 5 Water Jutsu and 5 Earth Jutsu, 3 C-Rank and 2 B-Rank for both.
