To my Almost,
I never knew that I would love simple gestures
The way I felt the butterflies every time I've got a glimpse of your features
I never knew that the cold wind would gave me warmth
Not until you palm touches my head, as I hold my breath.
For a second, I entered a home that I 've been missing
I felt the calm I've been craving
I've got to smell the favorite scent I've been longing
Finally, I heard the voice I've been meaning to hear
So dear...so near...
My stomach crumbled
Chest hammered
Heart's fluttered
So this is what it feels to be with your safe place
When your fingers intertwined and close the space
Between each other, while walking at night
As I look into your eyes, my favorite sight.
But suddenly, my favorite sight
Becomes the trigger to my swollen eyes
Every glimpse, turns into sleepless nights
The voice that comforts me, could no longer hold me tight
I might cry tonight
It doesn't feel right
My stomach crumbled
Chest hammered
Heart's fluttered
My favorite sight
Became my gloomy night
My dimmest light.
Drowning,
Sin
