The Twins of Techno

          Alison finished all her homework and about two hours later she was heading to her family's indoor gym. She opened the door but as soon as she did, a bolt of electricity seemed to go from her hand to a lightbulb. Alison looked down at her hand which had tiny sparks running along her fingers and began to put two and two together. "I wonder..." She points her finger at a radio across the room and it starts playing the song for her routine starts playing. Lowering her arm, she decided to wait until Wilson got more information to start seeing if she could control this strange, new power. She heads to the middle of the room and begins her stretches. The fast-approaching evening chases her back to her room for a shower.

          After her shower, she heads back downstairs to prepare dinner. Which is exactly where Wilson finds her, stooped over a cutting board. "Before you ask, dinner will be ready in about 15 to 20 minutes," she says without turning around. "Good to know. Also, I think I figured out what the deal is with us." he sits down at the table as Alison starts to dish out the food. "It seems like my body can somehow absorb electricity and shoot it out in a giant blast and transfer it to you which would explain how when I grabbed your hand your abilities seemed to activate while you could shoot out electricity without absorbing it." She sets the bowls down on the table and sits down herself. Taking a bite she says, "That makes sense. There's nothing we can do about it so we might as well try to find a way to control it." Turns out, her brother already had a plan which he said he would explain after dinner.

          Finished with dinner, they find themselves back in the gym and setting up some targets. Wilson pulls up an article with a diagram on how electricity can flow through the body and explains to Alison what she should try to do. He then goes to his spot at the gym to begin trying out his powers. Alison reads over the diagram and article before facing the target. Closing her eyes, she steadies her breathing and holds out her hand, pointing her finger at the target. She tries to imagine electricity running through her veins, down her arm to the end of her finger, and out to the target. She remembered the feeling she got the past few times that she's used her powers. As she stands there, she begins to feel the tingling sensation that she's starting to become used to. At the sound of buzzing, she opens her eyes to find a black, smoking scorch mark on the target. Her brother tackles her into a hug as Alison stands there in shock. "You did it!" He says letting go of her.

          "How did you do it?" Alison managed to shake herself out of her disbelief and was getting a drink before answering Wilson's question. She looks at her hand, " I don't really know. I just imagined electricity going through me and that feeling we felt when we used it in the past." Knowing this, Wilson returned to his spot in the gym and left his twin to gather herself to try what she did. With a little twist of course. Instead of thinking about electricity running through his body and then out through a certain point, he imagined the electricity coming through his skin and into his body to spread throughout his entire body before firing out in the direction of his target. He felt the familiar tingling feeling. He turned his focus towards that tingling feeling. Suddenly, a bright flash of light was seen through his closed eyelids, and the sound of faint crackling and buzzing filled the air. He opens his eyes to find that his technique worked, though a little too well. Only the base of his target remained. The rest of it was burnt and blackened and smoking. Thank goodness their parents were on the other side of the city for work and won't be home for two days. They're constantly being forced to travel around for business stuff.

          Alison walks up behind him and slings her arm over his shoulders, handing him a water bottle. "Used my technique as inspiration huh?" She teased. Her twin chuckled and took the bottle from her. "I mean it worked. We should keep working on it though. So that we can have more control and don't accidentally electrocute someone." Alison nodded her head and began thinking about ways that might help controlling their newfound powers easier. As she's lost in thought, Wilson pulls a necklace out of his pocket and holds it out to her. She blinks at it as she notices what's attached to the chain before taking it from him. "I thought it might be best if we kept the stone with us so I broke it into two pieces and turned them into necklaces." He said, pulling a matching necklace from underneath his shirt. Alison rubbed her thumb over the glittering surface of the white iridescent stone and thanked him. After putting the necklace on and cleaning up the mess they made, the two head to bed.

          As the twins headed upstairs to bed, Naru went to one of his downstairs charging beds. Before he powers off, he sends his memories of the day to The Robotic. Upon receiving Naru's information, The Robotic realizes that he needs to take action and fast. Luckily, he already had a robot built. He just needed to make some modifications and add the information from the stone that Naru had sent him and it'll be ready to introduce to the two teenagers. His robot? Well, this one was originally built for working on underwater maintenance as well as lifting things out of the water. As it looks like it has the tentacles of a squid and a crab claw, he named it Scrab. It's one of his larger robots, seeing as it's about as long as a jet, not including the tentacles which can reach up to 100 meters, and is as tall as a one-story building. He checks the twin's schedule for the next day and chooses a perfect time in which to send his new robot out to play. As he's going through some extra information sent to him, he discovers that the kid's parents work for him. "That works out quite nicely, I think." he murmured, laughing under his breath.
