The next morning, Wilson is woken up by Naru standing on his chest and Alison sitting at his desk. Sitting up, Wilson yawns, "Are the results done yet?" Alison turns in the spinny chair and says mhm before continuing to spin. Coming up next to Alison he looks at the little screen to find the big, pixelated word 'ERROR'. "Well, that's not very helpful." He sighed and stretched. Alison paused her spinning to look at the screen again and said, "Maybe there's someone who would know about it? Or the library?" "Yeah maybe. Get out so I can get dressed." Alison leaves to eat breakfast and to wait for her brother.

The smell of old and new books hits them in the face as they walk through the automatic doors of their favorite library. They like to come here to study by the wide river next to the library. They greet the librarians before making a bee-line to the nature/research and history sections of the library. When they meet back up outside, Alison has a book about stones used to build and make tools and buildings in past civilizations and Wilson has an encyclopedia of rocks. They sit down at a picnic table, Naru laying at their feet, and begin flipping through the thick books. About an hour and a half after sitting and skimming through books and snack breaks, a library assistant robot comes up to them and stops at the end of their table. Naru looks up at the robot as it asks the siblings if there's anything it can help with. The twins glance at each other, finding it weird for one of the robotic library assistants to be outside. At least out this far. "We're just trying to find a good book on stones for a school project," Alison says, going back to her book. The assistant stands there for a moment longer before making a beeping sound and pulling up a digital book. Alison finally looks up and takes the digital book from the robot. Wilson's still looking at the robot when he notices other robots standing near the door to the library. Alison looks in the direction he's looking after being kicked under the table and stiffens.
"This book will work perfectly, thank you. We'll be heading home now." Alison says to the robot assistant. The twins stand up and start to walk away, still looking at the robot. The group of robot librarians that were standing near the door now start to roll over towards them causing them to walk a bit faster. The robots can roll surprisingly fast on the grass so the twins begin running and Wilson grabs Alison's hand. Suddenly the twins feel a weird sort of tingling and electricity shoots out of Alison's hand and goes up Wilson's arm. The electricity seemed to fire off of them and towards the robots. The robots start malfunctioning as the electricity hits them and Wilson and Alison look over their shoulders as the robots fall to the ground in a big pile. After a while, they stop running, Naru on their heels. They don't say anything yet, instead focusing on catching their breath and calming their nerves. They reach home and walk inside only to immediately fall into the dining room chairs.

"Ok, " Wilson panted, "That just happened." Alison got up to get them water. "So that's why you absorbed all the electricity in your room and my blow dryer suddenly stopped working when I touched it." "But why were the robots coming after us?" Wilson accepted the glass and chugged it all. "I don't know but we should figure out how we touched electricity without, you know, dying." Wilson thinks for a moment when an idea pops into his head. He runs to the sewing box and pulls out a needle. Coming back to the table, he asks for Alison's hand before quickly pricking her finger with the needle. "Ow! What the heck was that for?" Already heading towards his room he says over his shoulder, "I'm gonna scan your DNA to see if anything's changed. Since we can't feel anything more than a slight tingle when touched by electricity, maybe something is different with our genetics." Alison rushes up the stairs after her brother. "So you mean that bright light changed our DNA and gave us superpowers? Sounds more like something out of a comic book than real life, Wilson." As she follows him into his room he responds, "I mean that's true but you saw what happened at the library. At this point, I think I could believe just about anything." He sits down at his desk and turns to his scanner, "I'll do some more research on the stone and our DNA. I'll also flip through that book the robot gave us before they all went loco." Alison, deciding to practice her gymnastic routine and catch up on schoolwork, walks out of the room and closes the door behind.
