The next day, Eliane is pulling along Jane-Anne by her arm as they walk through the woods.
"If you're gonna kill me, then, go ahead and get it over with." Jane-Anne said to Elaine.
"Not to worry, darling. I'm not gonna kill you, but you are, however, collateral damage for Mira." Eliane said.
"Why?" Jane-Anne said.
Elaine stopped walking and looks at Jane-Anne. "When Mira mentioned that she already had a family, I did a little research. You and Sophie Deveraux are closer to Mira than ever. I can sense the connection between the three of you. You and Sophie are like sisters to Mira."
Jane-Anne looks at Elaine Leuven. "Now, I get why Mira disowned you as her mother. She loathes you."
"Whatever." Elaine said, and walks away with Jane-Anne.

"You didn't have to come along with me, Klaus." said Mira.
"Yes, I know. But I thought my rebellious mischievous girlfriend needed some backup." Klaus said.
"Aww, how incredibly sexy of you." Mira said to him, flirtatiously.
Klaus grins to himself. "Don't flirt with me right now, Mira. You might turn me on."
"Is it working?" Mira asked him.
Klaus chuckles softly to himself. "Love you too."
"Don't you think it's wicked? Mikael? Esther? Eliane? Scheming together?" Mira asked her boyfriend.
"Yes, I think it's wicked." Klaus said.
"Am I annoying you? Great. I love to annoy you." Mira said and stopped walking. "By the way, can we take a little break? My feet are hurting from walking through the woods?"
Klaus stopped walking and looks at his girlfriend, Mira. "Your best friend is in danger and you're worried about your feet?"
"Firstly, I think I'm gonna have splinters in my feet. And secondly, ouch." Mira said. "And thirdly, I can sense Janey's location."
