Chapter 5

"Grghhhhh!!!!.The alarm clock rang loudly in my ear.

"Ugh!!!. Mayaaa would you get that thing to shut up, it's too loud". I covered my face with my pillow to block the sound of the alarm clock.

"Grghhhhh!!!, It continued ringing.

"Mayaaa, I yelled.

"What??, she said sleepily,while turning to the sides.

"Turn the alarm clock off, it's disturbing my sleep", I said almost half awake.

"Ugh!!, You're so annoying.
She dragged her body lazily out of bed and turned the clock off.

She slumped back on the bed.
"I have a terrible headache,she groaned loudly.

"What the fuck happened yesterday Ava and why can't I remember a thing?". She massaged her temples.

"Why are you asking me?.. I also have a terrible headache plus i feel like shit. I mumured sleepily.

"I can't believe I don't remember a single thing, why? She cried.
"It was supposed to be our best night out and I don't remember a single thing this can't be happening, she kept on whining.

"Ava I need you to fill me in on everything that happened yesterday, She asked as she laid on her two palms staring at me.

My mind went back to the hot kiss with the handsome stranger. I could not sleep properly without him appearing in my dreams and fucking me.

"I would give anything to kiss him again , too bad he is an arrogant prick".

"I know that face you are making right now, something major happened and you are thinking about it, she said.

"Nothing major happened, and
you know for someone with a terrible headache, you sure talk a lot and for heaven's sake. Be quiet, am trying to sleep here", I said in a low voice.

Should I tell Maya about the kiss.. No!!..not now probably later. Knowing Maya she would be overly excited and would ask me for every details. Maybe later.

"Why be so grumpy Avs? She asked.

"Cause I have a headache and remember I have to go back there today", I sighed.

"Ohh! "So what time does mathew get to my place". She asked.

"9:30 or so, I couldn't care less". Mathew was my personal driver/bodyguard, he literally follows me everywhere I go. I pulled the pillow from my face and turned to Maya.

"Then we don't have enough time, we should get ready.
And Ava, you can always come stay at my place, Am sure your dad wouldn't mind". She said while trying to gather her messy hair into a bun.

"I don't know, I said.
"My dad would get mad, Maya and you know what he does when he is angry. I sat up straight and rested my head on the headboard. She sighed. She came closer and hugged me.

"Hang on, Avs. We would leave for college pretty soon and you won't have to think about all this".
"Alright"
She tried to encourage me.

I blinked back the tears that was threatening to fall from my eyes. I promised myself that I won't cry, no matter what. I would be a strong girl like mom wanted. I cleaned my eyes with the back of my palm and smiled faintly.
