Their date night had been great, a perfect restaurant views over the whole town, soft music in the background and Jungkook looking at him like he'd rather eat him than the food.
"Kookie stop it your making me embarrassed"
"But you look so gorgeous!"
"So does this pudding let me enjoy it!"
Jungkook sighed," ok, but I can't help it my ruts near."
Jimin giggled,"so you'll be staying home for a few days?!?!no clothes, no laundry!"
"Laundry? Is that all you can think about, not the great sex we are going to have?"
"Practicalities my dear alpha,oh god this is so delicious!!!"
Jimins moan made Jungkooks pants twitch.
"So ,Sugas rooms done then, what's your next project?"
"I'll just do my everyday work, it's what pays the bills."
Jimin bit his lip, he wasn't contributing anything and felt guilty.
"You know I have my parents inheritance if you need it?"
"What....?oh no, I didn't mean to make it sound like I was struggling..., Jimin I'm extremely rich, if I don't want to work I don't have to!"
Jimin gulped, Jungkook was that rich?
""Ha, silly me I didn't know...." He mumbled.
"At least I know you don't want my money!" Jungkook laughed.
"Don't say that! I feel stupid not knowing how well off you are..."
"Hey, don't get upset..., eat your pudding."
"I-I've had enough, let's go,"
Jungkook frowned sensing the others mood change.He paid the bill and they walked towards his car.
"Jimin, you okay?"
"Mmm,"
Why do you feel sad then?"
"I....,I know you were joking but....you do know it's not just because fate made us mates or that you are well off that I'm with you?"
"Jimin don't start overthinking my stupid remark...."
Jimin stopped and faced his mate, taking a deep breath he spoke," when I was young I adored you, I'd ask dad to take me with him every time he visited your house,your sister knew I'm sure she did that it was you I wanted to be with not her, I didn't know why I was so attached to you it just seemed normal to be with you. I was annoyed with her for suggesting we go play while you were sick, I wanted to look after you.. well we know how that night ended..., the hate in your voice when you spoke to me..., I thought I would die........, then when you made everyone shun me,it was like you had ripped my insides out.
Coming back here I was determined not to see you because for all those years even though you'd hurt me, part of me wanted to be near you even if you insulted me it would be something. After meeting I was in denial that we could be mates, I felt unworthy of you, I've never given you anything but pain. If we hadn't of met that day, I wouldn't have realised that for all the pain, the sadistic part of me was willing to take any scrap of you I could get......, I love you Kookie I always have I just never called it love before. I still think you got a poor bargain in me, but I'll never take advantage of you or your money, I don't ever want you to feel burdened by me."
Jimin turned before Jungkook could see the tear escaping down his face.
He was enveloped in a back hug by two strong arms .
Lips kissed his ear," jimin you don't have to think your ever a burden, I love you I adore you, I get jealous when someone looks at you, fate meant for us to be together and soon we will be parents and we are going to be great parents,stop all the worrying thoughts and concentrate on our future ok?"
Jimin turned in his arms and kissed him deeply making his alpha moan.
"Fuck we had better get out of here and lock ourselves in the house it's gonna be a busy couple of days!!"
"Can't wait," Jimin said sassily.
Three days later Jimin was walking with a definite limp.
"Ah Jeon Jungkook I can't move!"
"Sorry babes you shouldn't be so adorable!"
"I look like a fat pig how can you say I'm adorable, I swear my stomach has grown overnight!"
"Mmm actually it is bigger, my pup has had a growth spurt."
"Well let's hope I don't get too big I'll be waddling!"
"I'd love to see that butt waddling, just like how I adore the taste of your nipples now when you lactate."
"Gosh your so embarrassing, go to work!"
"Ok babe, eat properly and rest up,"
"Oh I have a hospital appointment...."
"You didn't say, what time I will try and get out,"
"No you've missed time at work because of your rut, it's just a routine check up."

"No I insist, I'll be fine,"
"Ok..." jungkook grumbled pecking his mouth and leaving.
Jimin smiled to himself his alpha sometimes needed to be put in his place when he acted like a whiny child.
Jimin got ready to go to the hospital he took a taxi to the park near the hospital deciding to walk around there first enjoying the fresh air. A little boy with his mother pushing a baby in a pram stood in front of jimin.
"Hello?" Jimin smiled
"Baby?" The little boy asked pointing at Jimins bump.
"Yes, is that your baby brother or sister in the pram?"
"Sister," he said looking at his mother who was smiling at the interaction.
"Well you be a good big brother to her ok?"
The little boy nodded enthusiastically.
Jimin waved goodbye then walked forward only to stop when he heard a shrill scream.
Turning he saw the little boy chase into the road after a cat, his mother who had picked the baby up out of the pram in shock calling him and trying to run with the baby in her hands. Jimin saw a car driving around the corner, he ran as fast as his heavy body would allow and then everything seemed to go in slow motion, he pushed the boy to safety but the car caught him sending him towards the curb his head hitting it as one hand protected his belly the other slamming on the road.
Just before he blacked out he thought,Jungkooks gonna be mad.
Jungkooks phone was ringing,he'd just had a long meeting, he'd felt a bit off for some reason,he saw the number was Jin, he smiled his friend was probably going to tell him how the appointment went.
"Hey Jin, how are my babies? Is Jimin doing everything he should be?"
"Jungkook get to the hospital..."
"Jin...are you crying?...is Jimin ok?!?!"
"Jungkook he's been in an accident,saving a little boy.., a car hit him,his arms broken and....,he's in a coma,"
"No, no not my baby!I'm coming...the baby is it....?"
"For now the babies fine...., I'll see you here, drive safely..!"
Jungkook was a mess banging into Tae as he walked out.
"Jungkook? What's up..." Tae asked his friend worriedly.
"Jimin....accident...coma...oh god!!"
"Come on I'll drive you,"
The pair rushed out, Jungkook feeling sick to his stomach at what he might find.
