Anyone but you

Panic

Jungkook jerked awake when someone shook him.
"Still here?"
"I'm waiting for Jimin, Hobi..."
"Er , Jimin went to lunch twenty minutes ago....?"
Jungkook stood up, Damn it he'd sneaked out!
"That brat!"
Jungkook looked at the time he really should go back to work.........
"I'm going Hobi., make sure Jimin doesn't overwork."
"Of course! Bye..."
Jimin didn't eat much lunch he felt a bit off.
He drank some water and was just about to go back to work when his phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Jimin it's Jin ,"
"Hi, is everything ok?"
"It's about your blood test are you sitting down?"
Jimin bit his lip, he knew he just knew it, he'd damaged his body with the suppressants..
"It's ok Jin....., I kinda guessed it would happen."
"Well that's good that you guessed."
"So that's it then I need to plan my future."
"So when will you tell Jungkook?"
"I don't think I will..., he doesn't need to know.I'm going back to the US.
"That's not fair Jimin he is your mate...."
"And he can do better than me......thanks Jin."
"Jimin you sound sad, like you don't want to go,"
"This news means I can't stay,he would find out and he might just try to make me stay but he needs a future too and I can't give him that,"
"Jimin you need to see a doctor..."
"Why to let me know I'm not complete..., I-I have to go,"
"Not complete? Jimin what do you..."
"Bye Jin," Jimin clicked off his phone
It immediately started ringing again, he saw it was Jin and he turned it off.
He sat down feeling depressed, why had he thought he'd get a happy ending?
He knew after this morning Jungkook would be constantly checking him and he didn't want to break down in front of him.
He made his mind up and phoned the airline , there was a flight that evening at eight.
He booked it then went back to work a strained look on his face.
"Jimin you ok?"
"Yer um do you think you can get a replacement in?"
"A replacement? Do you still feel ill?
"I'm going back...., tonight, I'm sorry Hobi but I have too."
Hobi could see the stress on the others face.
"Jimin don't worry ,I can see somethings happened, I can manage and I have a friend who could help out now and then, what time are you going ?"
"My flights at eight, I have to pack but it's not much , I can work..."
"Are you well enough ? What if you faint again?"
"I won't and Hobi don't let Jungkook know."
Hobi nodded patting the other.
After work Hobi helped him pack, Suga stood by.
"Your not telling Jungkook?"
"No...,if he asks just say I've had enough of it here."
They both nodded then drove Jimin to the airport.
They hugged him goodbye.
"If you come back there's a job waiting!" Hobi said tearfully.
"I'm going to miss you guys, go now..."
Waving goodbye they left. Jimin felt depressed, he had wanted to stay but he couldn't burden Jungkook with a mate unable to give him a family and he couldn't blame it on anyone but himself , he had chosen the suppressants as an easy option. He put his hand in his coat pocket for his phone and found nothing.
Damn it he was sure he'd put it there as he'd checked the time driving to the airport, but it wasn't there now.
He laughed mirthlessly, he couldn't even phone Hobi as he hadn't memorised his or anyone else's number.
Fuck my life! He thought, he walked to a seating area , he had plenty of time before he'd check in he just hadn't wanted to bump into Jungkook if he turned up at Hobi's .
He closed his eyes sitting back, he felt awfully tired and stressed, he had time to rest........
"I can't get hold of Jimin Joonie!" Jin said pacing back and forth.
"He's priobably busy live call him later..."
"I've been calling for the last six and a half hours!!!"
"Oh..., what's so important?"
"Erm,I can't tell you but I'm worried...."
"Why and why can't you tell me?"
"Because it's a doctor thing."
Namjoon sat up, "Jimin is ok isn't he?"
"Er...., yes"
"Gosh you had me worried there......"
"Oh god I can't do this!! Joonie if erm someone had taken suppressants and was worried about being infertile and that someone was given a blood test by a handsome doctor, then that doctor had a conversation with that someone and somehow they got their wires crossed so that the someone thinks he can't get pregnant when he already is what should the doctor do?"
Namjoon stared at his mate.
"So if that someone, I dunno let's call them 'Jimin 'for now, got confused how would that happen as surely the handsome doctor would have said, hey good news your pregnant!"
"Aaaaah! Ok I admit it but Jimin said he'd guessed, I thought he'd guessed he was pregnant, I asked him when he was going to tell Jungkook then he said he wasn't and that he was going back and that jungkook deserved someone who was complete not him...., I realised he'd got it wrong and was trying to tell him but he hung up and I haven't been able to get through since."
"He wouldn't do anything stupid would he?"
"I don't know, he could be depressed thinking he's not a whole person and despite saying he's not Jungkooks mate I know he really cares for him and he's willing for Jungkook to find himself someone who can give him a family."
"Oh shit this is messed up,I'll try to ring the people he's staying with I'm sure he gave me the house number.
Meanwhile Jungkook had turned up at Hobi's , he had knocked but there was no answer. Was Jimin hiding inside or asleep?
Turning he saw a car pull up and Suga got out and then Hobi who looked tearful.
"Where's Jimin,"
The two looked at each other.
"He's not here,"
"What he's gone out after being ill?"
A sudden flashing on the back seat of the car got their attention .
"Is that your phone babe? Why's it on silent?"
"No mines in my pocket..., oh shit Jimin must have dropped it."
Jungkook opened the door quickly and grabbed the phone but it stopped.
He pressed the screen which had a notification that Jin / Namjoon called. Why would he call Jimin?
As he couldn't unlock Jimins phone he got his out and rang Namjoon.
"Oh er Kook hi..."
"Why we're you or Jin ringing Jimin?"
"How did you know?"
"Because he left his phone in Hobi's car!!"
"That was it Hobi, I couldn't remember his name....."
"So...?"
"Oh er is Jimin out then er Jin needs to talk to him urgently?"
"Hang on, Hobi where did you take Jimin?"
"Erm...,ok so he's gone back said he'd had enough of it here."
"WHAT!!!" Jungkooks Alpha voice came out strongly he was so shocked.
"Jungkook!!" Suga snapped at him
Jungkook willed himself to stay calm.
Talking into the phone he said," did you hear that? He's left his mate behind and gone back, he didn't even care about telling me, I'm nothing to him he doesn't care how much pain I feel ....."
About to click off he suddenly heard Jin yell, he's pregnant. !!
It was so loud Hobi and Suga stared in shock to,
"No..., he can't be,"
Jin told him the whole story and as Jungkook had put it on speaker phone the other two did too.
"So he thought I'd be upset if he couldn't give me a child...., what if he does something silly not knowing he's pregnant?"
There was silence for a few seconds then.
"The airport let's get there..."
Jungkook clicked his phone off and Jumped into his car.
Hobi and Suga got in theirs and they raced to the airport.
Once inside they raced to the gate that the plane was taking off from.
"No,no...!" Jungkook yelled as through the window they saw the plane taxi along the runway and take off.
"Oh god I'm sorry Jungkook..."
"No I'm not letting him go I'll get the next flight..."
The couple shook their heads in worry but followed Jungkook back through the airport to the ticket desks.
Jungkooks aura was strong and intimidating. Hobi stood behind Suga listening as Jungkook demanded a seat on the next flight. He glanced around embaressed and then his eyes saw something.
"Jungkook!"
Nothing
"Damn it JUNGKOOK!"
"What!!"
Jungkook turned irritated to Hobi who had a silly arsed grin on his face and suddenly pointed at something.
He looked and then gasped, lying across two seats his arm hugging his suitcase handle was Jimin. He'd pulled his hood over his head and was sound asleep.
Jungkook ran over and bent down picking his still sleeping mate up. Jimin sighed and nuzzled into his neck unconciously.
Jungkooks lips touched his forehead then Suga grabbed Jimins case and they walked out to their cars.
"He's coming home with me," Jungkook said in a no nonsense voice.
Suga put Jimins case in the back of Jungkooks car then opened the door to allow Jungkook to place him in the seat and strap him in.
"Gosh he's a heavy sleeper," Hobi said.
"His hormones are changing, he's probably tired from that his scent is stronger ."
"Look after him, oh convince him to stay,he can keep his job."
"Oh he's staying..."
"Ok we will leave you to it, come on Hobi,"
The pair left and Jungkook got in and drove off too, checking on his mate every few minutes.
He pulled up at his home and got out going to open the door then lifted Jimin and carried him in.
Jimin moaned and snuggled close.
Jungkook carried him upstairs laying him on the bed and lying next to him just staring at him, his pouty lips, his milky skin, suddenly those long eyelashes swept up staring at him first of all with a smile then a look of sheer horror and panic.
"Where am I ! I'm supposed to be on a plane,!"
"You slept through the boarding."
"But why am I here, look I've got to go I have to leave..." he sat up hurriedly only to have Jungkook push him down and loom over him.
"Oh no baby your not leaving me, especially when your carrying my pup."
Jimin stared then giggled hysterically .
"Don't you see I can't ever be pregnant, I damaged myself I'm damaged goods get yourself a real mate!" He ended up sobbing.
"Your my mate and your also pregnant, call Jin you got it wrong,"
Jimin gaped then passed out.
