ANDERSON, a brilliant and confident gay news anchor, is sitting at his desk in the newsroom. He's scrolling through his phone, reading the latest news articles when his phone rings.

ANDERSON Hello?

PRODUCER (V.O.) Anderson, we have breaking news. Can you come to the studio now?

ANDERSON On my way.

Anderson grabs his jacket and rushes out the door.

INT. NEWS STUDIO - DAY

Anderson walks into the studio where his co-anchor, SETH, a witty and charming openly gay man, is already seated at the anchor desk.

SETH Anderson, what's the news?

ANDERSON We're about to find out.

The lights dim, and the cameras turn on. Anderson and Seth take their seats at the anchor desk.

ANDERSON Good evening, I'm Anderson.

SETH And I'm Seth.

ANDERSON We begin tonight with breaking news out of Washington.

MAX, the weather correspondent, is a fashionable and outgoing man, while TYLER, the traffic correspondent, is more reserved but equally charming.

MAX

And now, let's take a look at what's happening with the weather. As you can see, there's a big storm system headed our way.

TYLER

Thanks, Max. And if you're out on the roads tonight, watch out for some heavy traffic.

SETH

(laughing)

Tyler, you make traffic sound so exciting.

TYLER

(smiling)

Well, I do my best.
