Bin whining to Kwan about him calling him 'Moonbin' when he normally calls him 'Bin' was the cutest, most endearing thing in the world to me, which is how this fic was born. Lol like him and Kwan being besties just makes so much sense. I failed to mention Dosie when bringing up purple kiss members I'd like to see compete on queendom puzzle, which was very whack of me cuz listen, Chae and Dosie linkin for a dance collab at a point during the show would gag me down. Dosie is very well-rounded as an idol and is who plorys tried to push as the "stan attractor" member when purki first debuted with ponzona and I definitely understand why cuz on top of her oozing charisma, she's just so fuckin sickening.

"This just won't do."

Eunseong blinks at the man and the way he shakes his head in disapproval as he stares at his Starbucks order, feeling an internal groan come on as she's in no mood to deal with a disgruntled customer. "Is something wrong, Moonbin?"

Moonbin clicks his tongue, suddenly looking childish as he frowns at her. "There you go again. First, on my order and now aloud to my face."

What a relief it is that it's slow as the lack of a line gives her some time to deal with Moonbin and his strange behavior. She says bluntly, yet professionally to her classmate, "I'm not quite following, Moonbin."

"Bin."

"Pardon?"

Moonbin sighs in frustration as if he'd been breaking down elementary school level math to her. "I like being called 'Bin', not 'Moonbin." He pouts at her, Eunseong sure to have found it cute had she not been swept up in confusion. "How could you forget, Eunseong? We were lab partners last semester."

Eunseong can only laugh, expression light as she smiles patiently at the tall man who's somehow managed to be endearing in this situation. "Well, I do apologize. It slipped my mind."

"I now have no choice but to come back tomorrow to help keep your memory fresh," Moonbin says with a seriousness that has her smiling even harder.

"I see."

Moonbin's pouting face sticks so firmly in her mind that she can't help but intentionally call him by the name he doesn't prefer the next day just to get him whining again.

"I hope you're not doing that on purpose," Moonbin says poutingly, his cup bearing his preferred name of "Bin".

"Of course not," Eunseong says cheerily, trying to keep a playful giggle out of her voice for the sake of maintaining the utmost professionalism.

Resting his elbow on the counter of the register and leaning forward to where the scent of his cologne is especially evident, Moonbin says with a smirk, "Something tells me you like seeing me here."

Flashing him a coy smile, Eunseong is lightly dismissive as she says, "Have a nice day, Bin."

"Oh, so now you wanna get it right," Moonbin laughs. Eyeing her closely, he says, "Don't worry, you'll still be seeing me tomorrow."

She doesn't know why professionalism is suddenly the last thing on her mind, an unfamiliar boldness flowing through her veins as she says, "Your crush on me is cute."

"How is someone as smart as you only just now noticing?" the man says smirkingly.

Giggling, she shrugs. "You should step out of line before I get another customer."

"I will as soon as you agree to go on a date with me," Moonbin says with a confidence and smoothness she can't help finding attractive.

"Sure. Don't get the wrong idea, though." Smiling mischievously, the beauty continues, "It's just to apologize for not calling you by the name you want. Nothing more."

"We'll see if you can keep that excuse up on our second date," Moonbin returns confidently.

Eyes twinkling with delight at being due to go on a date with a handsome, charming man soon, the Starbucks employee says smilingly, "See you then, Bin."
