When I walked through the school doors, I saw Opal and she smiled at me sadly before, some older boys started messing with her. I froze. One of the boys hit Opal, Knocking her down while the other kids started kicking and laughing at her as she started crying. I saw red. I ran towards them and pushed them away from her, Standing in front of her. Quickly I got her up and Told her to run. She looked at me with sad eyes for a second but I nodded slightly, and she ran.
The kids looked at me the same way they looked at her. They saw us as weak prey. I was gonna change that. I punch one of them in the nose. He fell back and grabbed for his nose, as the blood started to pour. I didn't stop there. I was gonna make them pay for hurting my friend. The other boys jumped on me, knocking me down. I kicked one in the stomach, knocking him off me. The boy that still had ahold of me, punched me in the jaw. I started coughing blood.
His arm goes for my throat, I bite down as hard as I possibly can. He lets out a scream and pulls his arm away, holding it. I get back on my feet and wipe the blood off my mouth. The other boys had gotten up at this point. The one with a bloody nose and the one I kicked decided they both wanted to get me. They both jump on me and land a few punches, before I kick one in the jaw and straddle the other, Punching him as hard as I can as many times as I can.
Then a Teacher pulls me off. I notice the crowd of people and catch a glimpse of Opal watching me before I get dragged to the office.
