prologue. the one who walks within the stars

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. She lives in a kingdom where there's no freedom, no hopes and no dreams. they're all blocked by a enormous barrier that was powered by magic. People there only knows how to obey, and they never rebels, yet this girl, she is different. She have her own dream, that is to see the ocean and the bright sky without any barrier blocking her sight. Which means, she wants freedom, more than anyone.

One day, she suddenly heard something. It was a voice, a very low volume voice. She looks around, but seems like nobody hear this voice. In fear, the little girl mumbled to herself. "what's wrong with me..." surprisingly, the voice replied.

"there is nothing wrong with you. turn around and you can see me. The voice said, out of curiosity, the girl turned around, only to find out a little bunny behind her. She picked it up, as the bunny started speaking.

"I am the devil that makes contract with people like you, strong will, yet powerless. I offer you an accord. I'll help you to satisfy a wish of yours, and in return, your soul is mine. Do you except it?" The demon said with excitement. It looks at the girl with its bunny eyes. The girl thought: "maybe this will be the chance to earn freedom." 

Yet later she had a better idea. The one that adults always says if this happens. "I accept the offer, and the wish is... you will keep making my wishes come true until my soul is yours!" she exclaimed, waiting for the devil to refuse.

"Sure, the contract is signed." The devil accepted the deal so easily. it shocked the girl. "eh, that easily?" "yea, it would be a fun game to play. With you, obviously. the strong will you have... it's called greed in a certain point of view." said the devil, as he disappeared on the girl's hand.

The girl mumbled and decided to try her new power. she went back home and put the dishes on the table. "I'm hungry, give me some delicious meals!" she said, the devil's voice echoes in her mind. "as you wish..." and the dishes are now filled with fruits, steaks and sweets. The girl finally believed the devil, and started to enjoy her meal.

Although the girl have the power to destroy the world easily, she decided to use it to help people. when she saw the families with no food, she always wished that they could get help, which they eventually did, due to her wish. her power is extremely powerful, yet she didn't forget her dream. To see the ocean and the sky.

With her power, the girl leads the people to turn against the government. The girl was seriously injured during the war, before she dies, she saw the devil collecting the souls of the dead. "wait... what are you..." the girl said, while coughing blood. The devil saw the girl dying, it didn't care about her, but it started to explain. "I knew what you want from the start, I've been waiting for you to wish for that, and now it happens, I can finally collect these-"

" don't touch them." the girl said, she can barely breathe, she didn't know anything about devil's plan until now, at least now, she can stop it by using her last breathe. "my last wish... do not touch... a single soul..." she said, before she completely fall to the ground.

in the end, the government got replaced and it's now completely open. the barrier is destroyed and people can finally sees the clear sky. Yet the one who wants to see them the most, is long gone.

the devil only collected one soul in this deal, which makes him mad, it shattered the girl's soul, denying it's afterlife and splash it to the sky, that's how the stars comes from. and the story comes to an end.

*500 thousand years later, kronii city*

a girl was watching tv, the leader of this city decided to show off her power in the show (which she usually does that) and the audience were shocked. "stopping time, huh... as a common folks that can see any future, I really can't relate." the girl said, closing the tv and decided to try it once more.

"the one who walks within the stars, shall one day meets the ability to wish."
