y/n was beyond excited to finally meet enzo's chelsea teammates. enzo had been telling her stories about his teammates ever since they started dating, and she couldn't wait to put faces to the names. she enjoyed all the silly stories that enzo would tell her. the funny pranks, and their practices that were filled with laughs and teasing.
when they arrived at the training ground, enzo introduced y/n to joao felix, mason mount, reece james, kai havertz, ben chilwell, and christian pulisic.
she smiled at the six tall men, "hi, nice to meet all of you", she gave them a friendly smile.
"enzo's been talking about you nonstop," mason said, grinning.
"i hope he's been saying good things," y/n replied, giggling.
"absolutely, talks about you so much that we feel like we already know you, joao chimed in.
y/n blushed, she felt warm inside. it was a nice feeling knowing that she was always on his mind.
"i'm glad to finally have met you guys, enzo's always talking about you all as well" she smiled.
"enzo's been telling us that you're a big fan of the team" reece mentions.
"yes, i am!! i've actually been following chelsea for years, even before I met enzo" y/n said eagerly as she points to her chelsea jersey.
"that's amazing to hear, so that means you'll obviously come to the matches" kai said.
y/n laughed, "of course now more than ever i'll attend the games".
enzo put his arm around her, feeling proud and happy to have his girlfriend by his side.
"i'm glad you guys approve of her," he said, looking at his teammates.
y/n was glad that her interactions with the boys was pleasant; she really had nothing to worry about. they were incredibly welcoming and so sweet.
"see i told you they were nice!!" he teased her as he wrapped his arms around her.
"i know i know, they are friendly they made me feel comfortable" she smiled.
y/n and enzo were in their home, cuddled up on the couch. enzo was playing with her hair, he always seemed to do that out of habit. she didn't complain because it felt amazing. he twirled her soft hair in his fingers, as well as braiding small sections and undoing. he got a sudden text from the chelsea groupchat.
"bebe guess what" he said as he put his finger under her chin to make her look up at him, she glanced up.
"what's up?" she said.
"the boys want to have dinner over the weekend, so you can meet the other boys and the wife's" he said excitedly.
oh god this was ultimate dream, she had been a chelsea fan for the longest time and finally being able to meet the players was outstanding. although she was a bit nervous she knew she had nothing to worry about. especially enzo by her side, she felt safe and at home. home was wherever enzo was, y/n described him as her safe place.
"that sounds fun!!" she grinned.
he texted the guys back and said they'd come. he was glad that the guys were accepting of her. she was everything to him, nothing could compare to her.
the dinner came by fast, she dressed up in a white tight dress. she made sure it was elegant, formal, but still cute. the dinner was actually pretty good, she connected with the rest of enzo's teammates and their wife's. she was talking a lot with mason's wife, she was glad that'd she'd finally have a friend within the football world. there were many shared laughs and smiles.
she glanced at enzo who was talking about some random funny moments that had happened at the club. y/n observed his beauty, the way he talked with his hands and his eyes gleamed, they sparkles in the dim light. his tattoos were on display as they travelled from his neck all the way to his hands. the same hands that would caress her face and he'd place on her thighs. god he looked beautiful as ever, he caught her in a trance.
"take a picture it lasts longer" enzo smirked at her then gave her a playful wink.
she rolled her eyes, "shut up don't flatter yourself", she got closer to him and laid her head on his shoulder.
"are you having a good time mi amor" he whispered in her ear. she smiled and nodded, then kissed his cheek; while they proceeded to listen to mason and christian bickering.
