I certainly know what I am going to choose. I leave without saying a word to Marcus. He will not be in my life from this day on!
I head to the Prior house and knock on the door. Mrs Prior opens the door. "Hello Samuel," she greets me. "Hi, um I just wanted to say goodbye to you and Mr Prior since I will be leaving today." I say to her, nervous of what her reaction will be.
She grins. "Okay," she laughs. "What faction are you choosing?" She questions, not very Abnegation of her to ask questions but I answer anyways. "Dauntless" I reply with a hint of happiness in my voice. "Right along with Tobias and Beatrice?" "Yeah"
"I don't think you should say anything to Mr Prior as he is still grieving our two leaving so I'll just say good bye to him for you" she says. "But from me, I wish you the best of luck with initiation, I hear it is very hard. Say hello to your brother and Beatrice for me. Oh and don't forget to eat plenty of cake. Chocolate was always my favourite." She says happily. Was she Dauntless? I ask myself.
"Thank you and I will" I reply. I walk away from the door and heap to the choosing day ceremony.
