(Present day,Somewhere in Thunderclan territory)
Firestar padded through Thunderclan territory as he hunted for prey.
He then heard a meowing noise from a tree hollow and out of curiousity,he headed toward it.
He then looked inside the tree hollow and saw three kits huddled up against eachother,trying to keep themselves warm.
Firestar was shocked.
Who'd abondon kits in such cold weather? Jeez what's wrong with some cats.. Firestar thought as he signaled for the rest of his hunting patrol to come.
Kits?! How did they get here? Sandstorm asked.
I don't know,though I have a feeling that they were abondoned by a rouge I don't smell any scent of clan on them. Firestar murmured.
Now could you carry two and I carry two? The rest of you can carry the others. Firestar said as he and his mate picked up two of the kits while Thornclaw and Graystripe got the rest.
They then headed into camp and everyone stared in surprise at the sight of the kits.
Who's kits are those? Sandstorm asked.
I don't know. Firestar murmured as he headed into the nursery with the tiny kits.
Firestar..? Squrrielflight asked her father.
We found them in the snow in a tree hollow. Firestar murmured.
Do they have names? Squrrielflight asked.
Well I did see some names marked in the snow.. Graystripe recalled which made Firestar smirk at his friends observance.
Sparrowkit,Darkkit,Thistlekit Valorkit,Fernkit and Hopekit. Graystripe murmured.
They need a mother. Firestar murmured.
Daisy stared at the kits and moved three of them closer to her with her tail.
Aren't you just adorable. She murmured to the kits who mewed as she began to clean the snow of there pelts,Firestar then noticed with a pang two of the kits at Daisy's belly had bent tails,bent in the middle like broken branches.
Firestar went pale and began to shake.
Firestar you okay? Graystripe asked.
Firestar nodded shaking his head.
I'm fine. Firestar said heading back to his den as Daisy and Ferncloud took care of the kits.
