Laying on Muzan's bed growing bored of being alone. You were waiting for Muzan to come back since he wanted to calm down from the meeting from earlier. You had an Idea and used the whistle Muzan gave you as a gift. You blew the whistle and waited for something to happen. But to your surprise nothing seemed to happen. You grew disappointed at the whistle and threw it angrily thinking Muzan have you some bullshit item that has no use. Till after you threw it, black smoke emerged from inside the whistle slowly making Its way out like a snake. It formed a shadowy smoky little friend. Your eyes glistened with happiness and the sight of a shadowy companion.

You stared at your friend debating what to call them, when Muzan finally showed up " Well look at that, It does work after all. " he said, You turned to him In confusion. " I was told a soul was in that whistle but whoever tried using it never was able to get it out. " You looked back at the shadowy pet and petted It's head In awe. " Muzi I'm stuck I don't know what to call them. " You frowned. " How about P/n? " My eyes widened at his response tears welcoming themselves into my eyes. I looked at him and he looked at me back In confusion. " Did I say something wrong? " You shook your head no and turned back to your new pet.

~ 𝚏𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 ~

For my 8th birthday my father surprised me with my very own pet I was so excited. Though he lectured me on the responsibilities on taking care of a pet and I insisted we get one for awhile but mom was against It, she said I had to focus on my ' hobby ' but eventually dad caved since I never stopped begging him for a pet. And mom was furious he went behind her back and got it for me anyways. She would always mistreat P/n while I was out doing my ' hobby '. I had P/n for only 2 years. But she never missed a opportunity to ruin me, one day I came home late hurriedly ran to my room to see P/n once I opened the door I was greeted with P/n dead In the middle of my floor, blood everywhere. I screamed at the sight and dad came rushing to me asking what was wrong while mom didn't bother checking on me, I cried into my dad's arms trying to tell him what I saw but I couldn't get a word out till he went to go see for his self and his face and heart sunk at the sight. It was days since P/n has passed and I grew depressed knowing this was my mom's doing. My dad was the only one to check on me but it was rare since he had work. Mom would only check on me to tell at me on why I wasn't doing my ' hobby '.

Snapping out of my daze I blinked my blurred vision away and saw Muzan crouched in front of me a slight concerned look on his face and my pet laying in my lap. He put his hand to my cheek, I slightly flinched In response and he moved his hand away a bit but I calmed down and he put it back wiping away the tears that flooded out of my eyes prior to my little day dream. " N/n I'm sorry I completely forget how sensitive that topic was. " You shook your head, leaning into his touch. " I-It's ok. " You sniffled. He got up and gave you a hug, you were shocked as he's never hugged you when you would always hug him. You cried even more into his shoulder and he let you till you felt better.
