I accidentally vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher,
Apollos and hermes looked at Percy in awe.
Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood
"I glad I am, being a hero is awesome!" John said. Immediately most of the goddesses and Zoe knew they wouldn't like John very much, maybe not at all.
If you're reading this because you think you might be one, my advice is: close this book right now. Believe whatever lie your mom or dad told you about your birth, and try to lead a normal life.
"Wimp, come on, we aren't even in the third paragraph and your trying to run away, I guess that's just typical for you." Thalia said.
Luke frowned, "You've changed." He said quietly, but the others still heard him.
Thalia laughed, "So have you."
"Don't be rude to each other! We're supposed to be a family again!" Annabeth said. "But if it's true you can't fight about Thalia saying the truth."
"Annabeth! We don't know him, let's get to know him before making options."
Annabeth crossed her arms, "Shut up, Grover."
Being a half-blood is dangerous. It's scary.
This time when John made a comment the other demigods didn't laugh, on some sort of level they did agree, being a demigod was scary.
Most of the time, it gets you killed in painful, nasty ways.
"Really? And who have you lust since you want to be an expert." Percy, Nico, Hazel, and Frank glared at John, but Percy and Nico's were the worst.
"My older sister for one."
"A lot of my friends and everyone's siblings or friends have died in the wars too."
"Wars?"
"It'll be explained later, but it's one of the reasons the Greeks and Romans are united again."
"I see."
If you're a normal kid, reading this because you think it's fiction, great.
"Mortals are reading this?" Hera asked.
"A child of Athena wrote this, his name is Rick, from my understanding most of the readers think this is all fiction." At the at Athena sat up straighter and beamed with pride, happy that they were reading something written by her child.
Read on. I envy you for being able to believe that none of this ever happened.
But if you recognize yourself in these pages if you feel something stirring inside stop reading immediately. You might be one of us. And once you know that, it's only a matter of time before they sense it too, and they'll come for you.
"It's not that bad, right?" Apollo asked, starting to look at the children of the gods in concern.
"Unfortunately." Beckendorf muttered.
Jason rolled his eyes, "No it's not, they're just being dramatic. The monsters only kill you if you're weak."
Ares laughed, "Ain't that true."
"If monsters only kill weak people, how come you couldn't handle killing a hellhound when you had a knife on you?" Nico asked. John snd the other demigods shut up.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
"You didn't warm Frank or me."
"Nor did you warm me or Bianca."
