Getting comfortable

Two months passed since their trip. They were back in their daily courses. It seemed like Jimin and Taehyung were doing well too.

Jimin did not ask anything further about Mirae. And he made up his mind that he would not think about it much.

After having breakfast Taehyung was getting ready to go for work. Jimin packed his tiffin and led Taehyung to his car holding his briefcase.

"I packed your lunch, make sure to eat it and don't forget it like last time." , Jimin said handing Taehyung his briefcase.

Taehyung nodded and went to his car in a hurry.

Jimin sadly smiled and lowered his head. They were doing well as a married couple, yes! But they were missing out on some things. He thought about having a peck on cheek from Taehyung before his leaving for work like other couples do.

Jimin turned and was about to go inside-

"Jimin wait!" ... Jimin turned and saw Taehyung coming towards him.

"Did you forget anything? Let me go grab it-"

"I didn't forget anything. I was thinking about- umm.., I-uh" , Taehyung quickly gave Jimin a peck on his forehead.

"Have a nice day and I will come home late tonight, so don't wait for me." , Taehyung just blabbered and left.

Jimin was standing there dumbfounded. His cheeks and ears were red as tomato.

The whole day spent with Jimin blushing every now and then. The maids were happy too seeing Jimin cheery all day. They had become his good friends.

It was almost past 10:30. Jimin was waiting for Taehyung at the dinner table.

"Sir, it's already so late! Please have your dinner." , the eldest maid said.

"You haven't gone to sleep yet, ahjussi! You are tired, you should rest now." , Jimin said to her.

Jimin was caring towards the maids also. He always helped them in their works. One of the reasons that they liked Jimin was because of his down-to-earth nature.

"It's my responsibility to take good care of you. How can I go to sleep seeing you not having dinner?...Young master will be late, Sir."

Jimin sighed. He was about to protest but the doorbell rang.

The maid went to open the door and fortunately it was Taehyung.

Taehyung handed her his coat and briefcase saying a little 'thank you' to her and went to Jimin.

Jimin could feel his cheeks heating up. The incident from the morning started to play in his mind.

"Sir has not had his dinner. He has been waiting for you since an hour." , she told Taehyung, a little smile on her face that only Jimin could notice.

"I told you that I'd be late. You should have had your meal." Taehyung said while taking a seat.

The maid was going to heat up the foods but Jimin told her not to and sent her in her room to rest. Taehyung also agreed with Jimin.

After heating the food, Taehyung helped Jimin to set up the table.

They had their dinner like every other day with their little chitchats.

It was far better than those initial days when they did not even exchange small talks.
