My dear (Luigi x Reader story)

"I go take a shower and finish what she started."

Luigis Pov:
"Luigi I have some news." Mario yells out. "What is it Mario?" I was at home together cause I have the day off. "I talked to peach today and she got someone to move in. She says that she's a doctor." Mario says. "That's awesome. The toads are always getting hurt so it'll be nice to have a doctor." I say. I cant wait to meet her. I hope she's nice.

After waking up the next morning I see the house across the street getting ready for someone to move into. I get excited and head to work.

After work i go home and just hung out. I look out the window and see her. She really pretty. I just stare at her. Her smile is so pretty. "What are you staring at Lu?" Mario asks as he walks towards the widows and looks out. "Oh uh..." I try to get words out but I get nervous. "That's the new girl. Her name is y/n. We are going to peaches place for diner tomorrow and we're gonna meet her." Mario says. Wait we get to meet her. Now I'm nervous. "Oh that sounds fun." I say. "You should go say hi to her ." Mario says. That's a good idea. "Yeah I should." I walk outside and I'm about to knock on her door and then I get nervous. I couldn't do it. I walked back home with my head down. "Lu you can't be so scared all the time. It's fine to push past your fear sometimes." Mario says. "I just feel like now's not a good time. I get to meet her tomorrow so I'll just say hi then." I go to bed and start regretting it. I decided I wouldn't be so nervous around her when I do see her. I have to be strong. I'm tired of being scared.

I wake up and get ready for the day. We go to peaches castle for dinner and talk to Rosalina and daisy. I barley noticed that peach and y/n had walked in. "Hello everyone. Y/N is here." Says peach very loudly. You look at her and she's super pretty. I'm excited to meet her. Daisy and Rosalina say hi then peach introduces me and Mario to her. I try to act calm when it was my turn. "And this is Luigi." Peach says and I put my hand out to shake her hand. " it's nice to meet you y/n. I hope you enjoy it here." I say. I smile and try not to panic to much. I made eye contact with her. I was to scared to look away. She has pretty eyes. I hope she doesn't realize how scared I am. She smiles back. That's a good sign. Seconds later peach announces dinner. I haven't eaten a thing today. I'm so hungry. I look away and see what's for dinner. I go and sit down next to Mario and eagerly wait for food. I glance at her a few times during dinner but that's it.

After dinner was over I noticed she had left her jacket. I was gonna ask Mario to give it to her but decided that i should. I take a deep breath and walk to her house from the palace. Her jacket smells nice. Very sweet smelling. I get to her house and take a deep breath. You got this Luigi. I knock three times. She answers the door and I hand her her jacket. She's wearing her pajamas. "Oh thank you Luigi." She says. She's smiling and takes it from my hand. "Of course y/n." I'm happy I was able to do this. "Would you like to come in for tea?" She asks. "Yeah sure." Tea actually sounds really good. We talked for a while getting to know each other. We mostly talked about me though cause she kept asking questions. She would barley let me get a question in.

The next day I'm at work and me and Mario split up and get lunch. I walk around and notice y/n sitting alone in a bench. Should I go sit with her? Yeah. You can do this. Since meeting her my confidence has gone up. I'm not so scared to do things. I got this. I go up to her and tap on her shoulder. She looks over at me. "Hey y/n. How are you today?" I ask. I smile a little. " I'm doing good today. How about you Luigi?" She asks. "I'm doing good. I'm on lunch right now. Can I join you?" I really hope she says yes. "Yeah of course." She says excitedly. That made me happy. "Let me go get some food real quick and I'll be back." I say. When I say quick I mean quick. I nearly ran getting food and getting back. We talked and laughed the whole time. It's so nice to be yourself around someone and not have to be nervous the whole time. Im truly myself around her. After a bit though she had to go back to work. We parted ways for the day but kept meeting back up for lunch. It was the highlight of my days.
