My dear (Luigi x Reader story)

Readers Pov:
It's the morning after yours and Luigi's date and your still so excited. You can't wait to see him at lunch but right now you hear a commotion. A toad fell from one of the pipes and he's really hurt. You get ready quickly and run to the office. Luigi tries to say hi to you but you run away to quickly. He looks almost hurt but you have to get there. The Toad is badly hurt. You get there and work on the toad. He turns out fine. It's lunch time and your exhausted already. You get lunch and sit at your bench and wait for Luigi. He gets there and kinda smiles. "What's wrong?" You ask. "What happened this morning. I was trying to say hi." He says kinda sadly. "Oh a toad got hurt and I needed to get to my office to help him. He was In bad shape. He's fine now." You say. "Oh ok. That's good. Sorry I took that the wrong way." He says. He seems happier. "It's fine." You say. You finish your lunch and then lay your head on his shoulder and fall asleep. You wake up Luigi shaking you to wake up. "Hey it's time to get up. We gotta get back to work." He says softly. You get up and he walks you back to work. He kisses you softly on the cheek and goes find Mario for work.

After work Luigi's waiting for you outside. You walk home together. He has done this a few times but it felt different this time. You go inside and go shower and change into your pajamas. You just got done and was about to heat up leftovers.

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK"

You open the door and see Luigi smiling in his PJ's. He's wearing black sweat pants and a green t-shirt and no hat. "Can I come in?" He asks. "Yeah of course." You say letting him in. You heat up your dinner. "Do you want any?" You ask. "No thank you I'm good." He says. He's sits on your couch. You pick a movie and sit down on the floor and start eating. He gets behind you and rubs your shoulders. After your done you clean your dishes and then get back on the couch. You still had a while till the movie was over so you lay your head in his lap. He rubs your head and you fall asleep. This is absolutely perfect you think to yourself.

You wake up the next morning in your bed. You always have Mondays off unless there's an emergency. You remember falling asleep on your couch on Luigi's lap. Wait where was Luigi. And how did you get in bed. You look at the clock "11:47". You had sept in. You didn't want to get up but you did. You went and used the bathroom and put deodorant and brushed your teeth and hair. You go to your kitchen and saw a note on your fridge.

"You fell asleep so after the movie was over I carried you to bed and went back home.
-Luigi"

Wait he carried you to bed. Wow. You ate your breakfast and lied around at home for the day. Luigi was working that day so you just watched some movies and made dinner for the next few days. You had a lot of movies that you brought with you. You had been collecting old and new movies since you were younger. Every time you went to the store you bought some. You knew they would come in handy. You had brought a few boxes of movies (the toads had brought them after you had gone through the tunnel and brought them to your house)". You always had a movie to watch.

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK"

It was Luigi and Mario. "May we come in?" Luigi asks. "Yeah sure." You say. "I just came to say hi. I'll be gone." Mario says. "Are you sure? Do you want a plate of food? I have plenty." You say. "Are you sure. I wouldn't wanna impose." Mario says. "Of course. Come on ill grab plates for you guys." You guys eat and hang out and play a few card game. "Well I'm gonna go back home. Thank you for having me y/n." Mario says smiling. "Bye Mario. See you next time." You say. He leave. "You aren't gonna go with him?" You ask Luigi. "I thought I'd stay a little longer. Is that ok. I'll leave if you want." Luigi says. "Of course I want you to stay. But thought you'd wanna go home for bed cause it's late." You say pointing at the clock "10:42". "It is kinda late. Can I sleep here?" He asks nervously. "Yeah sure." you say. He goes home real quick and get changed and showers and does all his nightly routines.

He comes back over and you guys lay in bed. Your at opposites ends of the bed. Your both nervous. He makes the first move and pulls you over to him. You guys spoon. He kisses your neck and cheek. He holds you close and he snuggles into your neck and falls asleep. This is perfect you think to yourself. You really like him. You've never felt this way towards anyone. It's an odd feeling but you love you. You sink into him and fall asleep.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP"

Your alarm clock goes off. You turn it off and see Luigi sleeping. My dear Luigi. You wake him up by giving him a kiss. He wakes up very happy and you lay in bed for a minute cuddling. You finally get up and go take a shower. When you get out of the shower you don't have a towel on. Luigi walks in and sees you. You both just kinda stop. Both of you are not moving. Finally you grab a towel "Don't just stare turn around." You say kinda aggressively. "I'm sorry." Luigi says as he runs out. Your face is really red at the moment and your panicking. Why was he staring. Was it a bad stare. And you yelled at him. Is he mad at you. You start getting upset but finished up.

You come out of your room and your bed is made and your room is cleaned up. You haven't had the energy to clean up. You find Luigi in the kitchen making coffee. "Sorry I walked in on you in the bathroom." He says sadly. "It's fine." You say. You kind of have a cold tone though. "It's not. I should have walked away as soon as I walked in. Or knocked. It was rude. I didn't mean to." He says back. You think for a second. He didn't mean it. It was bound to happen. You were just hoping it wouldn't have been that soon. "It's fine. Don't sweat it. It's not that big of a deal." You say more reassuring. You go to work and lunch as usual.

For the next few months you and Luigi hang out and he slowly starts moving in. You go on more dates and you get closer on a more personal level. You still haven't slept together and you aren't together but you think that's gonna change soon. He's started acting different. Like he's been planning something.

You guys go on your usual date but somethings different. Luigi gets to your house and he's looking at you with those shiny eyes. "You ready to go?" Luigi asks. He usually takes over date planning cause you've only been there for about 4 months now and don't know much yet. You've planned a few dates but not many. Anyways he takes you out. You walk for a while and arrive in the mushroom fields. We sit down for another picnic. You love picnics. It's so romantic. You lay together and just talk. "Hey y/n I have a question for you." Luigi asks. Is this it? Does he finally ask you out. Your so excited. "What is it weegee?" You ask. "Umm. I was wondering if you maybe wanted to.."Luigi says. He's super nervous. "What is it?" You ask. "Ummm. If you wanted to be my girlfriend." He asks. His face is kinda winced in fear of rejection. You get really excited and smile. "Oh my goodness yes of course." You say. You lean into him and kiss him. You guys kiss for a bit while. This is absolutely perfect.
