The girls and their vacation plans

Serenity sat on the floor of her room, surrounded by her collection of Barbies. She brushed their hair and dressed them up in different outfits, lost in her own little world of make-believe. Despite being 12 years old, she still loved playing with her dolls.

In the room next door, her older sister Aubrey was chatting away on her phone, likely texting her friends about the latest party or gossip. Serenity smiled to herself; she and Aubrey were very different, but she loved her sister all the same.As the sun began to set, the family gathered around the dinner table. Serenity's parents, busy with work, had decided to take a month-long trip, and they had arranged for a nanny named Luiza to watch over Serenity and Aubrey. But that wasn't the only surprise they had in store.

"Serenity, Aubrey, we have some news," her father said, smiling at his daughters.

"What is it?" Aubrey asked, looking up from her phone.

"Your cousin Ruby is coming to spend the holidays with us," her mother announced, her face beaming with excitement. "Really?" Serenity's eyes widened. She hadn't seen Ruby in years, but she remembered how much fun they used to have together.

"Yep, she'll be arriving in a few days," her father confirmed. "And in the meantime, Luiza will be taking care of you two while we're gone."

Serenity felt a mix of emotions - excitement at the thought of spending time with her cousin and apprehension at the idea of being watched by a stranger. But she trusted her parents, and she knew that they wouldn't leave them with anyone who wasn't trustworthy. By the time they finished dinner and went to bed, Serenity's mind was buzzing with anticipation. She couldn't wait to see Ruby and spend the holidays with her family. And as she drifted off to sleep, the sound of Aubrey's phone buzzing in the next room, Aubrey and Ruby are the same Age they don't see each other much but their personalities are similar and in that one the two sisters slept.
