Chapter 2

I was laying on my bed reading a book, my phone had died in the middle of a conversation with my friends and now I had to wait like a MILLION years for it to recharge, I was getting to the good part of the story when my door swung open

"Y/N HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY, STOP PUTTING YOUR DIRTY SOCK ON THE TABLE, WE EAT THERE!" my dad yelled throwing a sock in my face, I scrunched my face up at the smell

"It's not mine, I saw Kaveh put it there before," I said throwing it back at him

"oh, sorry n/n, enjoy your book," he said before closing the door, I waited a couple of seconds and heard him yell again and then my brother started screaming a high-pitched scream, I started laughing and lifted my book back up

"Y/n why did you tell Dad it was me!?" my door swung open and my brother quickly ran in hiding behind my bed, my dad came in with a whole pile of his stinky clothes 

"Please don't bring that into my room," I said blocking my nose at the smell

"Kaveh, out of your sister's room," Dad said, Kaveh looked between both me and dad before walking out of the room with his head down, just as he exited the room Dad tipped the pile of laundry on top of him

"I told you this would happen," I said to Kaveh as Dad walked away with a proud smile on his face and I laughed as Kaveh began sulking, he closed my door again and just as I was about to continue reading my phone lit up, it was a text from HuTao, I picked up my phone and read it

want to come?
oh Xiao will be there too and possibly Scara
Childes trying to convince him, but it isn't working lolol

I placed my phone on my bed and got up, I already had a shower so all I needed to do was get changed and grab a change of clothes, I opened my drawers and grabbed my swimming shorts and bikini, I grabbed a t-shirt to go on top as well as a change of clothes, I quickly put the Bikini, swim shorts, and t-shirt on and put the spare clothes in the bag, I grabbed my wallet and phone and ran out of the room

"where are you going?' My dad asked as I ran toward the laundry

"Oh, my friends and I are going to the beach," I said and he nodded

"Alright, if you want me to pick you up just call," he said and I nodded, I ran into the laundry and grabbed a towel, I quickly brushed my hair and put some waterproof mascara on, I walked downstairs and put my sandals on

Just then I heard a car horn beep out front, I said bye to my dad and ran out, I waved to HuTao and opened the backseat before jumping in

"Hi Bae, hi Xiao," I said, Xiao just grunted but HuTao started squealing

"Y/N, ARE YOU WEARING THE BIKINI I BOUGHT YOU?" she yelled and I nodded, she started squealing again causing Xiao, who was in the passenger's seat, to block his ears, now that I think about it he joined the GC about a month ago and this is the first time that I've met him in person and OH MY GOD HE IS SO FINE, he has teal hair with ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS amber eyes, he wore a white singlet with black shorts, and he had a large tattoo on his arm, might I add BRO HAD MUSCLES, not the large dwayne johnson muscles but still OH MY GOD before I could continue drooling over him HuTao started blasting some music and began pulling out of my driveway

"So you're Xiao?" I yelled over the music and he nodded

"nice to meet you I'm Y/n," I said putting my hand out with a cheery smile on my face, he looked at my hand and then at me and looked away, 

"put your seatbelt on, you can't trust HuTao not to crash," he said, I frowned slightly but did as he said, We soon got to the beach, the three of us got out and I grabbed my bag, I walk down to the sand where I saw Venti, Yanfei, Childe and surprisingly Scara, Yanfei was sunbathing while Venti and Childe were annoying Scara who looked like he was about to kill them

"Y/N!" Venti yelled as he noticed me he began running toward me and jumped on me

"IT'S BEEN LIKE A DAY SINCE I LAST SAW YOU, I MISSED YOU!" he yelled and I laughed

"missed you too Ven," I said, he got off me and I smiled, I turned to Scara who was still annoyed by Childe

"How did Childe manage to convince you to come?" I asked as I walked up to him, before he could answer I felt a hand on my shoulder, 

"Hello Y/n," I turned around and saw Kazuha and I immediately knew

"ohhhh that's how, Hi Kazuha," I said and I walked away seeing Scara's face heat up a little, I walked over to Yanfei and Xiao who were seated on the sand, 2 towels under both of them, I sat down next to Yanfei leaning back on my hands, Xiao stayed quiet while Yanfei and I talked

"Yanfei come on!" Hu Tao yelled grabbing Yanfeis arm and dragging her away into the water, I smiled as I watched Venti, Childe, and Hutao attack Yanfei, Scara and Kazuha had both disappeared somewhere, I didn't feel comfortable going in the water so I just stayed seated, I felt a shuffle on the towel, I looked up and saw Xiao had moved closer to me

"hi," I said with a smile, he just glanced at me and then looked back at the others, I observed him for a couple of seconds before looking away

"you hungry?" he asked after minutes of deathly silence, I nodded and he began standing up

"Come on, let's get away while we still can," He said putting his hand out, I grabbed it and he helped me up, I quickly grabbed my wallet and phone, and he did the same and we snuck away, we were walking down the beach in silence, no one dared to say anything, we walked into a small shop and took a seat, we both lifted the menu and began reading it, we both discussed what we wanted and decided

"hello there what can I get for you?' a lady asked as she stopped in front of the table

"uh can we get 2 Almond tofu and a small cold platter," he said, and the day nodded writing everything down

"I'll be with you shortly," she said smiling as she walked away, I turned to Xiao who seemed to be staring out of the window, I observed some of his features and I swear I was screaming internally because of how fine this man was

"Stop staring," he said snatching me out of my daze

"Oh, sorry," I apologized, and he grunted,

"Wait a minute... how do you know Venti and HuTao and all that?" I asked

"We went to the same elementary school, I've also known Venti since I was a baby," He said looking at the table, before I could say anything two bowls and a platter were placed on the table

"Enjoy your food," the lady said and walked off to another table, Xiao and I ate in silence, once we both finished the almond tofu he pushed the platter in front of us and my eyes immediately lit up

"Yum, I love olives," I said as I grabbed one and plopped it into my mouth, he looked at me for a couple of seconds then spoke

"you can have them, I hate olives," he said and I smiled

"Thanks, Xiao," I said and put another one in my mouth, we sat there eating and talking well I was mostly just asking questions and he surprisingly answered, we soon finished and we both split the bill after I forced him to let me pay.
