I was jolted awake by a blaring alarm clock that sounded like a fire alarm. The sound was harsh and grating, like nails on a chalkboard, and it filled the room with an obnoxious noise. As I struggled to open my eyes, I felt a sense of dread wash over me. I knew I had to get up, but I didn't want to face the day. The room was still dark, and the only light came from the glowing numbers on the alarm clock. I could feel the minutes ticking by, and I knew I was running out of time. The sound of the alarm clock was relentless, and it seemed like it would never stop. With a groan, I finally managed to drag myself out of bed. I stumbled across the room, bleary-eyed and disoriented, and reached for the alarm clock. As my hand closed around the snooze button, the sound finally stopped. But I knew that it was only a reprieve. The alarm clock would be back tomorrow, the next day, and the day after that. It was a never-ending cycle of annoyance and frustration, and I was trapped in its grasp. I quickly laid back down next to Kageyama who was still passed out like a baby, a little drool in the corner of his mouth. He wrapped his arms around me and continued to sleep.
"Cute," I say smiling.
"What's cute?" Kageyama said in his sleepy voice. I find it quite sexy when he talks after he just woke up. Oh, and his sick voice is also kinda sexy. He opens his eyes and just stares at me.
"You're cute," I say tapping his nose.
"I think you're cuter though," Kageyama says squeezing me tighter, telling me not to leave him. We continued to lie down until I hear my aunt coming up the stairs. I immediately sit up, Kageyama's arms still wrapped around my waist when she comes into my room.
"Boys, time to get up. You have school," she says as she opens the door and sees what was going on. "Kageyama, I know you're not sleeping. Get your ass up before you boys are late. You'll have to take a small breakfast with you since you won't have time to eat," She says before leaving.
I gently smack Kageyama on the head to try and get him to let go of me so we can get ready. He sits up slowly, rubbing his head and being overly dramatic.
"Oh come on, I didn't hit you that hard. Don't be a baby." I say as I get up off the bed and head to the bathroom, but before I could Kageyama comes up from behind me and hugs me.
"Don't leave me," he says as he starts to kiss the back of my neck. "Kageyama, let go. We're going to be late." Of course, I didn't want him to stop what he was doing, but my aunt would be furious if we skipped school for something like this. I turn around and kiss him on the lips. "Is that enough? Will you finally let me get ready?" That was a mistake because he immediately started kissing me again. He instantly shoved his tongue into my mouth, exploring every inch of it. He started to get a little touchy with his hands, but he soon stopped and pulled away. Saliva still connecting us. "Now that was enough." He said before walking passed me and going into the bathroom, leaving me frozen in place.
"Hey, I was just about to go into the bathroom, you meanie." I protest.
"You're always welcome to join me." I hear him say from behind the door. You could tell he was smiling when he said that too.
Fuck it. I open the door to find Kageyama brushing his teeth with the extra toothbrush I always have for him whenever he stays over. I begin to wash my face and brush my teeth as well, but I had to pee. "Uh, Kageyama. Could you leave so I could go to the bathroom?" I say not wanting to look at him. "Why, you don't want my help?" He says, getting seemingly closer to me. He pins me to the wall and starts to lean toward me like he's going to kiss me too. He suddenly whispers in my ear, "You're adorable when you get embarrassed, you know that?" He pecks my cheek and walks out of the bathroom. "Hurry up, slowpoke or we'll be late." I could hear him say from outside the door. He did that on purpose. I finished up in the bathroom and grabbed my school bag. I grabbed a bagel from the kitchen and me and Kageyama started to walk to school.
As we walked to school, we talked about the game we played last week. We analyzed every play, every move, and every mistake. We were both passionate about volleyball and loved nothing more than playing together. As I walked, I noticed the world around me. I saw the way the sun rose over the mountains, the way the leaves rustled in the wind and the way the birds sang in the trees. I started to appreciate the beauty of our world. I never really paid much attention to it before, but after meeting Kageyama, he changed my whole view of the world.
"Hinata." I hear Kageyama say pretty loudly.
"Huh, what?"
"We're here, what are you so lost in thought about?"
"Oh, nothing," I say smiling.
Once we arrived at school, Kageyama kissed me and we walked to our class.
3rd Person View
Hinata and Kageyama were at school, sitting in their classroom, waiting for the teacher to arrive. They were both excited about the upcoming volleyball tournament, and they couldn't wait to start practicing. As they sat there, Hinata noticed that Kageyama was looking a little down. He asked him what was wrong, and Kageyama admitted that he was worried about the tournament. He was afraid that he wasn't good enough, and that he would let their team down. Hinata knew exactly how Kageyama felt. He had been nervous too, but he had found a way to overcome his fears. He told Kageyama that they were a great team, and they had worked hard to get where they were. He reminded Kageyama of all the times they had won together, and how good it felt to be champions. Kageyama listened to Hinata's words, and he felt a sense of calm wash over him. He knew that Hinata was right and that they were a great team. He felt a renewed sense of confidence, and he was ready to face the tournament head-on. When the teacher finally arrived, Hinata and Kageyama were both eager to learn. They knew that they had a lot of work to do, but they were ready for the challenge. They were a great team, and they knew that they could accomplish anything if they worked together.
Hinata's POV
Time skip to after school and volleyball practice, cause I'm too lazy to write that :)
Kageyama and I were walking back home after school when I noticed he didn't separate when he was supposed to. "You're supposed to go that way to get to your house, why are you going this way?" I questioned Kageyama. "I thought we could continue where we left off this morning," he said smirking. I froze in place, completely embarrassed.
"Well, are you coming?" Kageyama extends his hand to me and I run up to him and we walk back to my house hand in hand.
