"Pleaaaaase, Annabeth! Can't we get a pool?" Percy pleaded with his stubborn girlfriend, as she scrolled through picture after picture of apartments.

Swiveling in her chair, Annabeth turned to face Percy. Prepared to deliver an award-winning speech on why they shouldn't get an apartment with a pool, she was shocked to find Percy not at face-level, like Annabeth had expected, but bent down to one knee, his hands clasped together before him in an act of begging. An act similar to one Annabeth had secretly always dreamed of, though it was only missing a ring......

"Percy!" Annabeth hissed, looking around her, blushing at the barely concealed smirks and half-laughs of her cabinmates. "We are not alone!"

The boy before her grinned devilishly, whispering, "I know," before calling out loud, "Why won't you marry me, Annie dear? Is it because of Malcolm? He's only a friend, I promise!"

Across the Athena cabin, Malcolm whipped his head up from the thick book he was reading. He frowned, pointedly standing up and stalking outside the cabin, an action he'd done many times since the end of the Giant War. The rest of Annabeth's siblings giggled at the dramatic Percy, who always found some diabolical way to teasingly bring Malcolm, the most serious of Athena's children, into the conversation.

"Fine!" Percy half-shouted, "But if you won't marry me, at least find me an apartment with a pool!" With that, the lanky boy collapsed theatrically onto the ground, the realistic faint only given away a few seconds later by the cheeky peeking of his eyes to see his girlfriend's reaction.

Annabeth closed her eyes and subtly shook her head, her heart warmed by the silly boy. She knew they'd have to find a pool, or at least something close, or Percy would never shut up. Since they'd made the decision to move out of Camp Half-Blood and into an apartment together some months after Gaea was defeated, Percy had spent the days sleeping and the nights keeping Annabeth up, designing his own perfect apartment (which was very similar to the Hephaestus cabin).

"I want it to be close to Camp Jupiter, so I can attend the college there," Annabeth reminded Percy, "And so will you, Seaweed Brain."

Percy's eyes lit up, "Camp Jupiter has a pool, Annabeth! YES!" His arms shot up in the air in victory. "It's perfect!"

"Shhhhhhh!" A wave of voices, obviously tired of Percy's antics, shot from all around the cabin, Annabeth's siblings shooting glares at Percy before going back to their books.

"All right, Seaweed Brain. In the San Francisco area, then?
