Athena Riddle is joining Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry for her 4th year, her brothers Tom and Mattheo Riddle are in their 6th and 7th year.
Athena has recently been expelled from the American school Ilvermorny, it was also a wizarding school. The reason of her expelling has not been released to anyone other than Tom Riddle Senior (father / Voldemort) and Athena. She wants to keep it that way.
Athena was sent to Hogwarts so her brothers could teach her 'to be lady like' and so she was closer to home.
The plan of Athena escaping or trying to be expelled was demolished when she met the Slytherin player Theodore Nott.
