Mommy gave me another bite of tomato soup with chunks of tomato in it after I finished the grilled cheese she gave me with it. I felt a little better and when I was done with my food my mommy left the tent to go give the dishes back. I took the ice pack and put it on my eye while I went to a mirror in here and almost cried when I thought about Weiss's brother kicking me when I just wanted some help. When my mommy came back in I thought I was going to be in trouble since she didn't want me out of bed right now, but instead, she came over to pick me up and looked a little mad when she took my ice pack off my eye then put it on a table.

She lied in her bed with me on top of her and she pulled a blanket over us while I was getting her chest just right for me to sleep on. She rubbed my head and back slowly until I fell asleep on top of her.

The General was dead, his right hand won't respond to us or take his place, Elm and Harriet have gone dark now, and Vine, Marrow, and I are in a meeting with other high-ranking soldiers. We had to maintain things and not cause a panic with the death of General Ironwood, but someone had to take his place and if Winter refuses to do it then that just leaves me with my rank. Just as we got through with the small meeting I headed over to the head office in Atlas and tried to see if the general left anything behind, but instead, I ran into a familiar face at the door of the office.
