then I ran with Clive. I don't know how long we were running for, because that thing was still behind us, but eventually the sound of squishy tenticals stopped.
we were in the middle of a forest. I sat with my back against a tree to catch my breath.
"WHAT THE FRICK JUST HAPPEND" I yelled after 2 minutes.
"it was just a monster. you'll get used to them." said clive.
"oh really? BECOUSE THAT IS NOT NORMALL!!" I yelled.
just then the monster reapeard. I stood up ready, to keep running.
instead of running live took out pan pipes from his back pack,and started playing 'be a man' from mulan.
the monster was just as confused as I was. it started to fall in to a deep sleep.why did that worked? I don't know.
after the monster fell over, then only then, didwe run, wile clive was still playing.
"you must be swift as a coursing river! BE A MAN! with all the force of a great typhoon! BE A MAN! With all the strength of a rageing fire!" I sang under my breath. "mysterious as the dark side of the MOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" I sang at the top of my lungs. Clive stopped running and playing his pan pipes. he looked at me like I was crazy.
"why did we stop?" I said cautiously.
"we're here." live said with relief.
