Chaper 1: first impressions

-3rd person- 6:23 pm
Aether was trying to find his sister, They were trapped and separated in a strange world called Teyvat. Anyway he has already made it through one country called Mondstadt, he had helped people in hopes of finding some new information about his sister whereabouts.
He had just passed stone pass when it started to lightly rain. (Great first impression Liyue) he thought. After about an half hour later he is almost at wanshu inn when he was ambushed by a hord of weird mind controlled hilicurls. From a balcony at the inn a short muscular dark haired adeptus observed this horrific attack. "another stupid civilian wandering around helplessly ending up in danger like always, uuuggghh" sighed the adeptus as he went to help the blond.

-Aether's POV-

Where the hell did these strange hillichurls come from I'm already soaked and tired I don't know if I can take them all by myself.
30 hilicurls later

-3rd person- 7:00 pm
"Aggggh I can't do this" things started to go darker and darker till the adventurer passed out but before he could fall and get hurt someone caught him in a greenish black smoke and in the blonds last blink before unconscious he managed to catch a glimpse of a black with green highlighted haired young man defeating the rest of the possessed hillichurls.

~Back at the inn~ 7:30

The dark haired male sat out on the balcony patiently as he waited for the blond to awaken.

Aether POV: 9:15 pm
I started to wake up when I felt like a ton of bricks were dropped on my head I opened my eyes to see I was at what looked like i was in a inn. I sat up on a surprisingly comfy bed and looked out on the balcony where i see the dark haired male sitting out there seemingly to be waiting for someone. I got up to asked him who he was waiting for when I tripped because my legs gave out, he shot his head around too see what happened and disappeared into a blue green fog before I could hit the floor someone caught me. I looked up to see he .. teleported?

3rd person POV:

"Are you okay?" The green haired male asked in a soft tone
"I think so but my legs won't hold me" aether worriedly said
" it's because you over exerted yourself when fighting the hilicurls A couple of hours ago" he said in a little raised tone as if he was aether's mother
"You helped me, thank you I appreciate it, but I need to go I have to get liyue city"
"No! You will not, you can't even walk you are staying here! End of story" xiao

Xiao POV:
"I don't even know your name, and I'm grateful for your help but I have stuff I need to do I can deal with a little bit of pain" the blond cried
" my name is xiao I am a adeptus, and I order you to stay here."xiao ordered 'why do i care so much I just met this guy he can do whatever he wants, but he is injured and need to heal before he leaves and I will make sure he does'
" but.." "No! buts you are not leaving till I say you can" xiao ordered more aggressively
Aether huffed but agreed. Xiao went downstairs to get some pain meds from Verr. When he went back aether was sitting patiently on the bed "Here are some pain meds for you take two and rest I have to go do something but don't leave because I will know!" Xiao orders like usual.

Aether POV: 10:00

*Huffs* Xiao leaves and I'm just stuck here... if I do try and leave when I can walk how will he know? Well I should wait and rest for a bit it's late anyway.

Time Skip 4:36 am

I woke up to thunder and the sound of hail coming down on the roof, I sat up to look around to see if adeptes Xiao is back but he isn't, so I decide to see if my leg feel better because my head doesn't hurt much anymore.
I go to stand up with as much caution as possible knowing what happened last time. I finally got fully up and I could stand without any pain then I try and take a step and wobble a little but stayed standing, I cheered... maybe a little too loud for it being 4 am.

Xiao's POV: past 10:00 pm

I had to go to a meeting with zhonli and childe to talk about the increasing possessed mobs around when someone calls out to xiao. That person had accidentally walked into the pyro regisvine and it took forever to defeat it without a person with hydro or cryo vision and having to protect the civilian. When I got back it was well past sunrise around like 6am. Right when I got home I went to check on that blond boy I still don't know his name. When I got to the room he was talking to a weird floading girl I caught the name paimon.
"Who are you?"...
