Study study study study...
Chiyo spends all night looking through her notes, library books, books she bought, and the Internet for one clue about the existence of the Shadow Realm. How does one get sent there? Is it what happens when people die? Is this guy a grim reaper, some human with extraordinary powers, or just some dude who somehow is aware of the Shadow Realm? Could he be related to the Egyptian history that Chiyo loves to study so much?
She didn't find much. Just stuff she already knows.
Chiyo sighs as she stares at the clock reading 12:13AM. Her studying binges will leave her with insomnia at this rate. She forces herself out of the desk chair and collapses into her bed, letting a groan escape her throat. A cold wind trickles up to her bare skin, leaving her more bitter and empty than she already was.
Gathering information is difficult and, quite honestly, something that Chiyo sort of regrets getting herself into. After all, this wasn't the first time that she had found herself yearning information from one guy in particular.
Chiyo: Yugi! Hi! It's me, Chiyo! You probably haven't seen me around since I sit in the back of your class. Is that the Millennium Puzzle?!
Yugi: W-Wait, you know about the Millennium Puzzle?
Chiyo: Of course! I pretty much studied every Millennium item in existence! Is it true that the puzzle has an ancient spirit in it? What about the other items? Does it tie in to the history I've researched about?
Yugi: Well, I-I can't exactly answer everything-
Joey: Ey, Chi, quit bein nosy, alright? You just askin about dat necklace Yugs has right off the bat sounds suspicious.
Chiyo: I-I don't mean to sound suspicious, I-
Joey: Sounds suspicious to me. Why you wanna know so bad anyways?
Chiyo: I-I can be curious if I want to. It just... looked interesting...
Yugi: I- Maybe I can tell you more about the puzzle, Chiyo? Sometime after school?
Chiyo: Th-That would be nice! I'll see you at the library!
It never happened. Perhaps Yugi had something else come up. Maybe Joey's suspicions convinced Yugi that this might not be the best idea. Or maybe... Yugi never really cared to tell her in the first place.
Wouldn't be the first time Chiyo annoyed someone away.
Chiyo clutches onto her pillow and curls up into a ball, putting her curiosity to rest.

Domino High School is still hell. Everyone can agree to that. Though the atmosphere doesn't feel tenser as Chiyo believe it should be. Was no one else informed of the fact that there was a dead gym teacher rotting in the dumpster? Are Chiyo and Julieanne still being hunted down by this mystery dude?
Is Goku late for class? His desk remains bare and dry.
Julieanne: (groans) I lost to Joey again! Gosh, why did I not think of using a magic card? Why why why?!
Téa: Well, Joey, your skills might actually be getting better with enough time and patience!
Joey: Ey, I was patient enough! (To Julieanne) Good game, Julieanne. You played well.
Julieanne: (shakes his hand) Good game, Joey. You are doing better. (Sits down on her desk) I'll beat ya in a rematch! Just you wait!
Joey: It's game on, Juls!
