Chapter- 2

Recap :- Deepthi made her mind to accept the proposal for her parents and the groom's family arrived.

Deepthi's POV :-

Maa called me downstairs as the groom's family arrived. I came down and four members were sitting on the couch. They looked like couples, one look like they are in 40's and the other looked like 20's. The women in 40's came to me said "You are looking gorgeous darling" I smiled and said thanks. She looks like groom's mother and that man is his father.

Srii :- Mr malhotra where is your son?

Mr malhotra:- Oh common srii call me vijay, dont be formal after all we are school mates and yeah he's coming he has a meeting to attend so he's a bit late.

They were talking and suddenly we heard a car parking and uncle said his son came, for some reason my heart beat increased and he entered into the home but I am busy playing with my saree

Vijay :- srii he's my son siddharth malhotra. CEO of malhotra industries.

Siddharth's POV :-

My mom was pressuring me for marriage from 2 years but I want to succeed in my life so I rejected all the proposals and now my mom came with another proposal and I am ready to reject this too, I went a bit late to the bride's house as I was in a meeting, I parked my car and went into the house and my father introduced me to them and there I saw the girl all nervous and playing with her saree, she did not raise her head and she was wearing a green saree with simple jewelry.

Vijay :- Dear let me introduce everyone to you as you don't know
She's my wife Sowmya
He's my elder son sourya
She's my daughter in law nandini
And he's my younger son siddharth

Deepthi :- Namasthe

Her voice is so damn sweet and pure but why is she so shy and she look a little young too

Sri :-Siddharth do you want to talk to my daughter?

Siddharth :- Sure uncle

As I said sure my parents were a lil shocked as I never talk to anyone and directly reject them but this girl have some spark which is forcing me to talk to her.

Suma :- Deepthi take him to your room

She started walking and I followed her, we entered her room and she signaled me to sit on the bed and she stood near the door so I pulled the chair and I asked her to sit. She sat and she's still in the same posture as before in the hall playing with her saree

Siddharth :- What's your age?

Deepthi's POV :-

I raised my head and saw him. He was wearing a black shirt and looking great. He was looking into my eyes and I felt butterflies in my stomach so I immediately looked down

Deepthi :- I'm 18

Siddharth :- Do you know my age?

I nodded my head as no and he smiled a bit and said he's 25. I was little shocked and saw his face, I guess he read my face and asked

Siddharth :- Do you agree with this marriage? You know we have 7 years gap and you can say openly if you have any problem with it

Siddharth's POV :-

Even though I said that my heart was praying to get a positive reply from he, she slowly lifted her head and said I'm okay with this

Siddharth :- Should I take this as a yes?

She was nervously catching her saree and said yes, her cheeks became a lil red due to blushing. I stood up and she also stood from her place and I went near her she became nervous as I went near her she started moving backwards and she collided with the wall and there was a inch gap between us and with my index finger I lifted her chin and we had a eye contact. Her eyes were like galaxy we can drain in them. As I started moving more closer I can here her heartbeat.

Deepthi :- L-lets go down they might be waiting for us

Saying so she went down and I too joined the others as we went down my mother came to deepthi and asked "do you like him?" And she shyly nodded her head as yes and immediately my mother hugged and said god bless you.

Vijay :- Very happy to hear this news and welcome to malhotra family my dear daughter

Deepthi's POV :-

After I said yes I saw my parents faces and they were smiling happily after seeing their smile I thought I can do anything for their happiness and they came near me hugged me and said god bless you

Suma :- I'll call the priest and ask him when we should get them married.

Sowmya :- Sure suma.

They were talking about the marriage and I saw Siddharth signalling his babhi something and she was teasing him. After few minutes she stood up and came near me and talked to me for a while and asked my number, now I understood what they were signalling and I gave her my number. I should say she is friendly and sweet.
