Suma saw deepthi coming down and went near her

Suma:- come deepu I was waiting for you.

Suma took deepu to her room and showed her few dresses for haldi function

Suma :- deepu see this dress this will look beautiful on you
Or wait instead of dress we'll go with saree
What do you think deepu?

Deepu was just staring at her mom seeing how she's choosing dresses for her and being all excited

Deepu :- Maa calm down. Choose something for me maa. I know your selection is the best

Suma selected a yellow saree with white netted flowers design looking so beautiful

Suma :- deepu go and change into this and ask naina to help you with saree. I have always asked you to learn how to drape a saree. But have you ever listened to me? No. Now see you need to be dependent on someone. No one listens to me in this house.

Saying so suma left from the room and deepu smiles seeing her mom knowing she'll miss all these ranting.

Deepu went to her room and started draping the saree with the help of naina obviously. Our naina can't be silent and can't be shush without teasing deepu

Meanwhile the groom's family came to the bride's house. Hearing the car sound deepu went near the window to catch a glance of her would-be and this only leads to more teasing by naina and her cousins

Deepthi is all ready in  beautiful saree

Sri :- Suma go and bring deepthi down

Suma :- Naina come with me

Siddharth POV :-

Siddharth is impatient and he was keep on staring at the stairs waiting for deepthi

Nandini :- She will come down in few minutes. Stop being so desperate Siddharth afterall she'll be all yours in 5 days. Looks like you are so into her

Siddharth :- Babhi it's not lik-

I was talking with babhi but stopped hearing anklet sound and turned my head towards that direction only to see deepthi coming down in her saree looking so beautiful with haldi in her hand.
But why are keeping your head down deepthi? Look up don't you know how desperate I'm to see your face

Everyone made deepthi and siddharth sit together and the elders were mixing the haldi

Nandini :- weren't you waiting for this moment? Talk to her why are you being silent siddharth?

Author's POV :-

Siddharth looked at deepthi and nudged her with his elbow elbow. Deepthi saw him and there were no boundaries for siddharth's happiness. Deepthi raised her eyebrows asking what?

Siddharth :- what happened? Why are you looking low? Anything happened?

Deepthi :- I'm feeling nervous. Everyone are looking at me

Siddharth :- You are the bride dear they will obviously look at you or should I change the bride so that you will feel comfortable?

Deepthi kept an annoying look and turned her face

Siddharth :- Is my little bride angry?

He said laughing at her antics

Naina :- Ahem Ahem!! We will start the function if you guys are done with talking

Siddharth signaled naina to come near him and whispered something to her she smiled and went from there

Deepthi :- what?
