5- getting to know u

I wake to the sound of small breaths and the feeling of an arm draped around my stomach from behind me.

Moving slowly as I try not to wake Bella, I reach over to my phone charging on my side table to check the time, 8:47am. I turn around and lay back down facing Bella and focus my eyes back up at him.

I lay there memorizing every little mark upon their face feeling they way their chest rises and falls with every short breath they take before noticing him stirring awake and quickly advert my eyes to hide the fact I was staring.

"Good morning beautiful" they say with their raspy morning voice.

"Good morning" I smile up at them.

"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you I was just checking what time it was"

"Don't worry you didn't, what time is it?" The question.

"Early, 8:47" He nods and looks back down at me. Just the smallest glance and I'm already covered in goosebumps.

"I was thinking we could just walk around LA before dinner tonight. If that's okay with you."

"You mean spend a whole day with you? I'd love that". I roll my eyes and turn back over to my side attempting hide my blush before Bella rolls me back over by my waist.

"I like when you blush, it's cute". Bellas arm that hasn't left my waist begins to draw circles across my back relaxing me into their arms.

"We can just stay like this for a bit if you'd rather?" I suggest, not wanting to move from the comfort of their arms.

"No I want to explore LA now, no taking it back" But we still don't move. Bella hand moves down to my hip, tracing small circles gentle enough to make me fall back asleep. I close my eyes slowly but still try to fight the tired feeling wanting to stay in this moment.

We lay in comfortable silence for a while,  just enjoying each others presence. I can feel Bellas eyes on me, causing me to open my eyes slowly confirming my thoughts.

"Hi" I whisper with a smile.

"I- um, you know what nevermind we should get ready". He tries getting out of bed before I pull him back down grabbing his hand, not letting go.

"What is it?" I giggle into my question

"No no it's stupid" he tries getting back up again.

I pull her back down so both of our backs are against the headboard. I look into their eyes that are already looking down at mine.

"Say it, I won't laugh I promise" I turn my face serious as I speak.

"Um- okay" they giggle and lower their head out of embarasent. "I was gonna say how I really wanted to kiss you"

I roll my eyes, "You're right that was a stupid question" I respond. He looks up at me, his face turning shocked.

"Oh I'm sorry, I just wanted to ask before-"

I grab his cheeks with my hands and pull him close connecting our lips.

Fireworks

A million lights dance behind my eyes, a feeling of euphoria washes over me. What's supposed to be a small peck lasts much longer as I melt into Bella and they pull me to straddle on top of them.

The feeling of their soft fingers dancing around my hipbones right above my pajama pants sends butterflies straight to my stomach and I smile into the kiss before pulling back and studying his flustered face. I smile proudly to myself knowing that was because of me.
