Ink and Honey

Roses bloom behind his eyes every time that he smiles.
When he merely sets his gaze on me, my heart beats for miles.
His eyes, the color of glacier ice,
send chills through my veins and down my spine.
His smell washes over me like rain,
And I find it easier to ignore the pain.
His laughter echoes through my soul,
Bringing love and lust, he makes me feel whole.
There's nothing I crave quite like the taste of his kiss,
Honey and sugar, warmth and bliss.
His voice glides into my ears with ease,
Like parchment, and a quill with ink.
His lips are soft, like fresh baked bread,
His hands keep me entwined like thread.
I am putty in his hands with every glance,
He is my very picture of romance.
