I stood in the kitchen a knife in one hand and a spinach in another as I sliced through the vegetable. Yes, I was cooking but my mind was faraway from me. Theo left for Brazil this morning after kissing Preeta on her lips, leaving her red and breathless. Was I jealous? No... Was I upset?, Yes..

"Ah!" I yelped softly taking my bleeding finger into my mouth

"Oh I am sorry, are you hurt?" She asked blinking at me a smile on her face as she cocked her head to the right

I could see through her fake apology but I decided to let her go

"Next time walk with your eyes and legs" I said rinsing my fingers under the running tap

She turned off the tap before I was done "That should be a small lesson on what I can do to you if you do not stay away from Theo"

"Make me bruise myself with a knife?" I asked looking at her dumbly

She chuckled "Don't test me Farida"

I folded my arms "If you feel so insecure about your relationship then that's your problem but don't come around threatening me because Farida doesn't take threats likely"

She smirked before running her fingers over the spinach I had cut "You think it's a threat? Ha, that's a warning Farida. Stay away from Theo... I can ruin you without even lifting a finger, don't push me"

I licked my lips biting it to contain my anger "You are so lucky today Jhanvi" I said intentionally calling her another name

"Oh really why's that?" She asked feigning innocence blinking her eyes at me

Our little chit chat was cut short by Amaya who walked into the kitchen whistling

"We aren't done" She said

"Actually, this, is over"

I looked at my reflection in the mirror, sincerely, I was trying to dress modestly but my shape was making it look as though I was out for men.

After a lot of attempts in the gown department, I settled on an oxblood colored skirt that had a slit and a white off shoulder shirt.

Where was I going you might ask, simple, I was going to see Jael.

Yes, I kept the truth about me and Jael being a thing before Theo and I came together and the reason was quite simple. Jael and I relationship was rocky. We weren't normal and we both ended things before we could even get serious.

Why was I going to see Jael?? ....??

I had no idea, no fucking clue at all. I just needed someone to tell everything that has been going on, i just needed my ride or die back.

I took out my phone and my eyes immediately went to Theodore's contact that I had saved as HIM.

He had my number saved as Wifey with a cute emoji and a heart, a red fucking heart.  I was a horrible person.

My eyes drifted to Mr. Jones' number, I needed to speak to him, If Theo wasn't ready to speak to me about the divorce I am guessing Jones will.

I called him, it rang and he picked

"Hello?" He called out

"Mr. Jones?"

"That I am, who am I speaking to?"

"I am F... My name's Felicity" hell, like I am going to tell him my real name and give him a chance to tell Theodore. No please.

"Okay..." He said urging me to continue

"And my husband and I are going through a divorce and I need you to be my lawyer" I lie

"Let's meet and talk in details"

I smirk "De Café"

"Done. By 1?"

"1:30"

"Alright"

I hung up, placing my phone in the pocket of my skirt.

I glanced at my reflection again, so today was simple. I was going to meet with Jael now and by 1:30 I should be speaking with Jones.

I picked up a pair of sunglasses and a scarf, just for the sake of disguise, you never know what lurks on the streets.

My phone rang, yay! My Uber driver was here already. I quickly slipped on a pair of white colored wedge sandals and locked my room door.

As I walked down the stairs, I could hear hushed whispers.

The fuck do you mean?!

Could Saraswati and Theo be at it again? I thought Theo travelled to...

As I walked, I came face to face with a very angry Daniel. You remember Daniel right? You better.

And he was having a very serious argument with Saraswati.

As soon as they saw me, they stopped

"Oh please don't stop on my account" I said

Daniel gave me a very fake smile "How's the baby?"

"How do you know?" I asked

"Theo told me"

"Theodore doesn't tell anyone anything" I argued

"And you are supposed to know him?" Saraswati shot at me

I looked at her "Yes, I am pretty sure I know him, I mean we once had our sexes kissing "

"And you think I haven't had sex with him or something?" She asked

"Or something" I said completely walking off the stairs

I turned to Daniel "Theodore wouldn't appreciate you coming here when he isn't around"

Daniel smiled again, fake "I just came to drop a message to Saraswati"

I smiled at him "The door is that way"

Daniel looked at Saraswati before smiling at me, fake and walked away

Saraswati smiled at me "You look nice"

I smiled back "Appreciated"

"Is that really your best dress?" she asked as she walked out

My phone rang again cutting my thoughts short, my Uber driver!!

I hate this chapter, it wasn't *giving*
