Part-1 [Kim Namjoon series]
Written by @jjnsvff_7Namjoon's POV
I was sitting in my office, finishing my work. The work finally was done. I get up and stretched my body thinking about tomorrow. I looked at the busy roads outside of my office's window. Tomorrow, I have to fly to Hawaii. Finally, a vacation. I sighed and picked up my things. I left my office after calling my assistant to bring my car. I sat in the car and focused on the scenery outside and relaxed.
"Sir, the preparation for tomorrow is done. Your time of departure will be 5:30 in the evening." My assistant, Choi Yeonjun said while driving. "Thank you, Mr. Choi." I replied with a smile. "And also for the following week, I will be handling your work so please enjoy your vacation, sir." He said while looking in the mirror waiting for a reply. "Sure, of course." In no time, I reached my house.
I came home and directly went to sleep. Now, it was 4 in the evening and I was waiting for my assistant to pick me up. I looked at my watch and waited. He arrived and in no time, I reached the airport. There was half an hour left for the departure so I waited for some time. Wait, I didn't introduce myself, did I? Well, I am Kim Namjoon, soon to be the CEO of my father's company. For now, I just work there to help my father a little bit.
On my 29th birthday, I will be introduced as the CEO of the company. I was lost in my thoughts when I heard the announcement about the flight. I hurriedly reached the entrance and got into the flight and sat on my seat. The flight soon took off and I closed my eyes. In some hours, I reached Hawaii. There were some people at the gates greeting us. "Holà, welcome to Hawaii." I smiled at them. Soon, I took the taxi and said the address to the driver.
He nodded and drove off. Soon, I reached the place. I sighed in relief. Finally, I reached. I guess he renovated the house. It has become more grand. I rang the doorbell and waited. Some maid opened the door and bowed. "Please come inside, sir." I nodded and went inside. I could see the preparations going on. I was wondering when I heard a loud voice and got startled. "Welcome, Namjoon." I smiled, already who it belonged to.
"Hahahaha, I didn't knew you were still very early about everything. I can see by the preparation. I mean the party is after 4 days." I said while folding my arms. He sighed and started to come down from the stairs. "You know how I like things to be ready early itself, Namjoon-aa." He came down and gave me a hug. "How are you, Seokjin hyung? How's everything?" I said while sitting down.
"As you can see, busy. The company is having a progress but with that, more all-nighters are pulled by us. But I decided to take this whole week off." He said with a tired expression. "Good for you. This whole week is special for a reason. It's your and Nari's first anniversary." I said after drinking some water. He blushed and scratched his neck. "Yeah, yeah. But you'll be 29, be the CEO soon so what about you?"
"For now, I want to think about work and the more success about our company. I want to focus on my career, hyung." I finished my statement with a nod. "That's what Jin said two years ago. And now, see we are happily married. Right, Jinnie?" Nari said while pinching Hyung's cheeks with which he replied with a frown. "Yeah, yeah. But leave my face, it hurts." She smiled and sat beside him.
He hurriedly rubbed his face and continued, "Yeah, but you have to deal with things like this." To his response, Nari pushed him and said, "Yah, don't listen to him but really Joon, when are we having a sister-in-law?" He asked with a smile and curiosity. "Soon." I replied and sipped the juice brought by Nari. "Well, we forgot to tell you that Yoongi too is staying at our place for this week." Hyung said.
