You still Have a hard time wrapping your head around how you got the job. It happened when you stumble across the wrong building, and saw a puppets moving without puppeteers. The Director had offered you a job in order for you to keep your mouth shut and it paid double then what it was supposed to so you took it.
The show itself wasn't too bad and you caught yourself, watching it once in a while. It wasn't anything outstanding like Sesame Street, but it certainly did the job of keeping kids entertained. You work from 5 to 5 because you were in charge of wake up all the puppets in the morning.
Apparently the way that these puppies have become possessed because the Director wanted the most amazing show ever produced made a deal with the devil. AnyWho, most of The crew were nice except if you didn't get them exactly what they want it at that exact moment in which most would throw a little bit of a tantrum, but in this kind of job business, you get used to that kind of thing.
The worse you had to say, was definitely the Director. He need everything to be perfect which wouldn't be so bad if he at least said please and thank you a while. Even though you worked with a bunch of demons, he was definitely the devil.
You actually became quite good friends with some of the actors Sally and Poppy were as nice, they were very shy and often times needed to be reminded of things. Frank would be often the most polite, and yet be portrayed as the grumpy one. Barnaby, Howdy, and Eddie were fairly decent a little more demanding than the rest and often times would storm off the stage if something went wrong. You often had to console them, or bring them drinks and food. But they had lots of fun ideas, and easy to hold up a conversation. When I was a little bit more of a diva was definitely Julie. You had to be very careful to be always on time and always do things just right. It was like walking on pins and needles all the time. But if you did everything just right, she would smile and be respectful.
But by far the worst actor was Wally darling himself. He kept himself often in his dressing room, so you wouldn't even have to bother getting him anything. However, you weren't necessarily the one in charge of pleasing him that job was reserved to interns who would come and go. In the span of two months 17 interns had come and left because of his outburst. He was ominous and threatening, and not even the Director himself would wanna confront him. He was the one in charge of everything here, and he knew it.
Most days things will be pretty decent. You'd have nice conversations and people would give you free snacks table. But of course, there were the really bad days. All the actors would have something go wrong, and nothing would be filmed.
It was a typical Tuesday one you had seen many days before. You came into work at 5 AM went into each of the rooms to greet the neighbours. They slept on the set I mean, might as well I can't really go anywhere.
"Morning Sally, Poppy! And what did I tell you both about having sleepovers without authorization? You know, the boss would have my head if he found out about this"
"We're sorry there was just a big storm last night and I got quite frightening" Sally said.
"It's OK I completely forgive you and I was joking. They couldn't fire me, even if they wanted to so"
"That's good you're definitely the nicest person here, we don't know what we would do without you!" Poppy replied.
The next room was Eddie and Frank. They were married in real life so they shared a room. Easier for you.
"Good morning! I brought you both some tea just the way you like it not too hot not too cold just plain old green tea"
"Thank you so much dear! You know you didn't have to do that." Eddie responded
