[DISCONTINUED]The missing Goddess of the moon

A/n; I've decided to just restart the whole story since I didn't like my writing like at all and I couldn't really keep updating casually so i decided to just remake the whole thing and upload all the chapters once im done :)

This story is also based on a few theories like how Morax is the sun god and therefore a shining shade/ shade of the primordial one or at least a descendant of some sort

"Tell me have you ever heard the story of Chang'e the Moon Goddess, no? We'll gather around as I tell you a story of two lovers destined to love for each other until the ends of time."

Our story starts out with the sun and moon longing to be with one another but couldn't because of their differences and their jobs wouldn't allow such a thing to happen. So the God of time came up with an idea for both parties to be happy, the heavens and the lovers. The sun and moon would each choose something related to themselves and turn them into a godly being for them to love each other in another form. The two were elated with the idea, the moon picked the brightest star from the night sky and the sun released its strongest flare of light together creating the beings we now know as Morax and Chang'e.

The sun insisted that its creation walk the lands of teyvat first and the moon agreed, so our lovely archon had lived and learned much about the land he was blessed to own as he waited for his beloved to arrive from the stary night sky. A few hundred years later the moon goddess had arrived for her lover Morax and they were overjoyed to be together, they each had felt that they found their other half, the piece they always thought was missing had finally been completed. They thought they would be together forever.

But that fairytale was not meant to be. During the archon war and Destruction of Khaenri'ah something... unexpected happened, the moon goddess had been bit by a ginormous snake that caused her to fall into an eternal slumber during battle. She had fallen out of the sky and hit the ground so hard it caused all of Liyue to shake and mass destruction around the area, she was taken back to the mountains and watched over by the Adepti as well as Guizhong. Morax tried his best to see his lover during her last moments but by the time he had got back from the battlefield, it was too late.

According to witnesses she had floated to the moon and despite the strength of a god and multiple adepti they could not keep her landed on the ground. The god was devastated when he heard the news and he became a more angry and more violent god giving him the title "God of war". He destroyed all in his way throwing mountain with the palm of his hands, changing entire landforms and the geological structure of teyvat all together. His friends tried to stop him but he would not listen too blinded by rage and guilt for not being there for his lover during her last moments.

Eventually the war was over, he had earned the title of "Geo Archon"  but even with the new found peace to the land he never stopped thinking about his lover and how guilty he had felt for not being strong enough to protect her from this cruel world.
