Chapter Nine

Y/N POV:
The sounds of alarm blaring is the first thing I hear when I wake up. Followed by Lando's groan, he reaches over me to grab my phone to switch my alarm off. He starts to get out of bed making me groan.
"Ughh five more minutes." I whisper, he just chuckles walking into the bathroom and turning the shower on. I drift back into sleep before I'm awoken again.
"Y/N...baby wake up." Lando whispers shaking me gently. "C'mon it's 7:30. Let's go to your room so you can get clothes."
"Okay let's go." I say getting up and out of the bed. We head to my room and Lando waits on my bed while I do my makeup, once I'm done I rummage through my suitcase until I find what I want to wear. I dash into the bathroom changing quickly.
Y/N's Outfit:

"Lando, I'm ready to go." I say walking out of the bathroom. He stands up from the bed and walks over to me.
"Let's go get breakfast." Lando says before leading me out of the door. We head down to the breakfast place at the hotel. Lando and I sit down at a table by ourselves but with extra seats so anyone can join us if they want. Carlos and Charles join us a couple minutes later.
"Where did you guys go last night?" Carlos asks suspiciously.
"I was tired so we went to bed." I tell him.
"Lando, I don't understand how you convince her to wake up so early. She loves to sleep." Carlos says changing the subject.
"It was hard this morning after I switched the alarm off and she fell back asleep for thirty minutes while I was showering." Lando says chuckling. The rest of breakfast is filled with laughter and excitement for their first day on the track. Once we're done eating, Carlos and I leave for the track.
"You know Y/N this is the happiest I've seen you in ages, even before Lorenzo and you were over." Carlos says as we get in the car.
"I truly am happy." I say causing him to smile. The hotel is very close to the track so we arrive very quickly. There's a bit of press that my brother has to do and a couple questions for me. Then we head to the Ferrari garage and pretty soon practice starts. Both Ferrari cars perform well during the practice and the McLaren car also seems to be performing better. Once practice is over my brother comes back into the garage, he gets out of his car before coming over to me.
"That was a good practice!" I chirp as he takes his helmet off.
"Yes I suppose it was." He says, before going to talk to his race engineer. I wait patiently for him to be ready to leave. We start to walk back to the car but on the way there Lando comes up to us.
"Hey Y/N!" He says pulling me aside quickly.
"You did great during practice." I tell him.
"Thank you." He pauses before continuing. "Would you like to get dinner with me tonight?"
"Of course Lando." I say softly.
"Alright I'll pick you up from your hotel room at 6:30." Lando says moving a piece of hair of my face before looking behind me. "You should get going, Carlos is getting impatient." I giggle softly before turn back to my brother.
"What was he saying?" My brother asks as we resume our walk.
"He asked me out to dinner." I smile giddily.
"That's good." He says as we get in the car. When we get back to the hotel I only have thirty minutes to get ready. I quickly rush up to my hotel room to change and touch up my makeup.
Y/N's Outfit:

The minute I'm done getting ready I hear a knock on my door. I rush to the door opening it, Lando is standing outside my door dressed in a button-up and black pants.
"You look beautiful." He murmurs as I walk out closing the door behind me. Lando wraps his arm around my waist before pecking my temple. We head to the restaurant in the hotel lobby. Once we arrive we are quickly seated. Soon the waiter comes to take our order and much to Lando's dismay it's the same waiter as last night.
"And what would the pretty lady like to eat?" The waiter asks winking at me. Lando immediately tenses up from across the table. I quickly tell the waiter what I want.
"I'll have that right out for you sweetheart." He says before walking away.
"Does he not see that I'm right here." Lando says clearly frustrated.
"Just ignore him Lans." I say softly.
"It's hard to ignore." He grumbles clearly a little jealous.
"Let's not let it ruin our dinner." I tell him.
"I'll try." He gives in.
Soon the waiter comes back with our food.
"There you go sweetie." He says putting my food down after Lando's. I notice Lando's hands clench into fists but he manages to control his temper. The waiter walks away and we start to eat.
"Can we stay in my room tonight?" I ask him.
"Yeah, of course love." He says grabbing my hand from across the table.
"You really do look beautiful Y/N." I blush when he tells me that.
"Thank you Lando, you're handsome yourself." I say blushing. The waiter brings out our chèque and winks at me again as he puts it down. Lando wastes no time paying and then we swiftly leave the restaurant. We rush into the elevator making sure we're the only ones inside before he kisses me. He pushes me up against the wall of the elevator fighting for dominance and effortlessly winning. We continue to make out and I begin to forget where I am until I hear someone clear their throat. We pull away from each other quickly and find Lewis standing in the open door of the elevator. I feel my face flush with embarrassment.
"Sorry Lewis." I mutter as Lando and I start to leave the elevator before Lewis stops us again.
"Does Carlos know?" He asks concerned. I nod my head. Lando and I run to my hotel room giggling softly. Once we get inside Lando is immediately kissing me again. He pushes me on the bed and begins to kiss my neck softly.
"I. Missed. You." He says and in between his kisses become rougher. He starts to bite and suck on my neck, causing me to moan slightly.
"Lando" I moan softly and he pulls away from my neck. Smirking he kisses my lips again.
"C'mon let's get ready for bed. We have to get up early tomorrow." Lando says kissing me one last time.
Time Skip:
Lando POV:
I wake up to the sound of Y/N's alarm blaring. Rolling over I quickly switch off her alarm.
"It's time to wake up." I whisper pulling her close to me.
"Okay." She huffs before getting out of bed to start getting ready. Once she's ready we go back to my room quickly so I can grab clothes. Changing quickly before we head to breakfast. Qualifying for the race is today and I'm hoping that the updates on our car will be successful. We go to breakfast and eat quickly. Before Y/N has to join her brother. Once we get to the track I head straight to the paddock quickly preparing myself for qualifying. I end up qualifying third which I'm very pleased about. Once we're back at the hotel I go straight to Y/N's room knocking on the door. To my surprise it's not Y/N's who opens the door but her brother.
"Carlos! Sup man!" I say as he lets me in the room. I look around for a second before I spot her.
"Hello my gorgeous." I whisper as I hug her from behind.
"Hi." She whispers turning around to hug me properly.
Time Skip:
I wake the next morning alone in my bed. I sigh softly missing her presence next to me. My brain travels back to last night and how after I visited Y/N and Carlos yesterday we all went to dinner together before heading back to the hotel. Carlos and I walked Y/N back to her room and then we went to Carlos's room.
"Come inside for a couple seconds Lando." He welcomed me in.
