Personality

Kalakaua comes off as really outgoing and headstrong as he doesn't take shit from no one, before he met Keenan and Tatsumi he lived in Alola for pretty much most of his life and lived with his mom since his dad had gotten killed by someone.

He was dating Mallow back in Alola until Ash had came around and she started to hang out with him a lot less because of him, and because of that she broken up with him which he was saddened by it. But since all of that happened he started to hold a hatred toward Ash for not only being the reason why Mallow broke up with him but for winning the Alola league as well.

At a young age he wanted to become a Dark/Ice/Dragon type expert just like his father so his Pokémon mainly consist of those typings, although he has captured other Pokémon types.

Kala was very disappointed in his own people that lost in their own game and their own league as he takes pride of being born in Alola and when he seen some fodder beat Alola's "best trainers" he wasn't very happy.

He admits that if he participated in the Alola league back then he'd lose but since that were the case he decided to train even harder then ever to become the new Champion of Alola, but he's not only doing it for himself but also for his deceased father.

Another thing Kiawe and Kalakaua tend to hate on each other a lot since Kiawe was jealous that Mallow chosen Kala over him, and that also resulted in Kala tormenting Kiawe and Ash not caring about the rest of the crew.

Ever since he met Keenan and Tatsumi he doesn't really care about Ash that much but he still wished to crush him in the Alola league and take that title away from him. But he sees Keenan and Tatsumi his TRUE rivals more than any other trainer out there.

A/N:like the 2 others before Kala I had no idea what Pokémon he has but since his typings is only Ice,Dark and Dragon it made things a whole lot easier since his Pokémon is very limited and a small amount as well.

To be honest need to do the Dark Knights but I'll do that later....or whenever I feel up to it.
