Chapter 3
Kris's POV
"Ms Knight."
I looked up and I saw my Literature teacher, Ms Kelly, staring down at me. What does she want now?
"Go up to the board and write your answer to the question," she instructed.
"What question?" I asked sleepily, still unsure which universe I was in and what happened to my Captain Jack Sparrow that I was just recently drinking tea with.
"The one on the board Kris." I knew that.
With everyone's undivided attention on me, I walked up slowly to the board and stared at the blurred words on the board. Not again, fucking dyslexia.
I tried making out the words but it just looks like a black smudge on the board. Okay maybe I can guess the question. I mean this is Lit class and we are currently reading Wuthering Heights. Wait, it's the one with Mr Darcy and some Bennet, right?
"Kris, I don't have all day."
"Yeah right," I said sad sarcastically.
"Excuse me."
"Ms Kelly, please don't pretend you actually have a life."
Yup, this is exactly what I am going to do. Get her angry enough to send me to the principal's office. Mrs. Evans knows about my dyslexia so I probably won't get into any real trouble. Will this plan cause a giant social embarrassment that I will be remembered with for the rest of my high school life? Definitely.
"Excuse me, last I checked, it's you who's single and have the entire school against you," she said as the class laughed, agreeing with her.
Ouch.
"Oh please, don't act cool by trying to sass me because you and I both know that I have Ms. Evans, aka your boss, wrapped around my finger and if she finds out what you just said to me, well you know what will happen better than I do," I said with anger as her eyes widen.
How dare she sass the great Kris Knight?
"You will do no such thing." Is she fucking testing me?
"Watch me," I said grabbing me bag as I headed for the principal's office with Ms Kelly hot on my tail.
"Kris, what brings you here?" she asked. He face changed from concern to shock when Ms Kelly came storming in behind me.
"I need to talk to you Ms Evans. It's about Kelly over here so could you get her to leave?"
"What she's going to say to you, she's lying. She's a demon, don't trust her."
"I'll be the judge of that, leave please," Ms Evans instructed as I smirked. Ms Evans then told me to explain what happened between the two of us.
"She was being a bitch, she made me go up to board to answer a question because she knows I have dyslexia and she wants to embarrass me in front of the entire class," I told her even though her calling me out might have something to do with me sleeping in her class.
"I will have to talk to her, go back to class Kris. And please behave."
"Yes Ma'am."
I walked back into class with a smirk as the rest of the class gave me hateful glares since most of them actually did like Ms Kelly. Duh, she's a piece of shit just like the entire school.
To be honest I don't know why I hate her but it sure does give me joy giving her a hard time.
"What's wrong with you Kris? Why do you have to run around ruining everyone's lives? I mean I know your life is shit and all but it's not our fault. Leave us alone."
