Unfamiliar territory

I am outside Jennie's bedroom pacing while dara is talking to Jennie.  I hope whatever Jennie's problem is they can work out. I am so confident that jennie will solve this so I don't listen to their conversation. But it's taking too long.

Finally the door opened and dara come out. I am feeling so nervous.

"She's okay." Dara assured shutting the door behind her. My eyes flick to the door to catch a bit of jennie. "Don't worry" she continues noticing my glance. "She just needs some time alone. You did the good calling for me. She did need someone to talk."

"Yah of course I didn't know how to handle her emotions." I admit.

"Well let her cool down come on. Dara points towards the hall. Some security guys don't know you yet."

Giving Jennie's door a last look I followed dara downstairs.

We reach the hall where jiyong and other guys are there who I assume to be responsible for security. I wonder why they're here and not around the house.

"Nice to meet you." One of the guys says, his arms extended. I just nod and he let his arms down awkwardly.
"I am Jackson, head of security. Jiyong told me you have some complaints about it."

I raise my eyebrows at dara and she gives me green light to go off. "I do. You have absolutely no one watching the backyard. Every guard I met while exploring completely ignored me and letting around a stranger without even asking name. And I don't even notice you have a quick means of communication. How do you even check in with one on other?"

Jackson blinks in surprise. "I..uh.."

"You also don't have offensive weapons. Are all men trained in close quarter combat?"

"Not all of them"

I scoff and turn to jiyong. "Hire a new faction or at least thin out this lousy herd of nothing. And assign more people to all entry and exits. We need a mean of communication. Walkie talkie, earbuds anything. And make sure every guy you assign must have combat skills. So can you take care of all these things ASAP."

"Yes. Sure I will do it immediately."

I sign. "Get IDs of every security person here. Make sure they wear it all the time. I don't want any enemy to be inside in disguise of your men."

"I haven't realised how weak our security was. I am going to take care of all things you said." He nods frimly and went to make calls.

Dara chuckles. "I am surprised you didn't said them to install high tech security systems."

"Well technology can always be hacked. Though I might suggest later if we need them. Can you give jiyong some good recommendation on security guys. I forgot that."

Dara nods. "I will. What are you going to do?"

"I am going to see the setup in front gates. That's our first line defence."

"Okay. Call me if you need anything." Dara says and went towards jiyong.

I head towards the front gates. There is a single guard post with only enough for one man to use it. I approach the gates to see the man. It's Jackson. I went near the gates as he comes to me leaving his post.

"What are you doing here?"I ask

Jackson puffs out and leads me into the post. "I am checking the new list of guards. Do you want to?"

"I just wanted to see this post." I stare at too simple set up. "A sigh sheet to keep in check who comes in and go. That's it? No screens for the cameras? "
