Care to dance

I am allowed to sleep in since we don't have to leave untill late night and I enjoy every moment of it. My bed is so comfy, but then dara knocks the door and ruins the fun. Se hun let's her in giving me a nod. I sit up just so I don't have to hear dara hound me.

"Time to get up." Dara says too cheerfully. Opening the curtains. The sky is already darkening. I groan and scratche my head looking at dara up and down. She's wearing a cobalt blue pencil dress that's perfect for her.

"Am I the only one who's not ready? I say getting out of bed."

"Jennie's finishing up right now. But yes you're basically the last one. We have enough time though."

I pad to bathroom and start the tap so I can wash my face and brush my teeth. By what you're wearing. "I am guessing I am supposed to dress fancy too."

Dara fills the bathroom door and her reflection nods at me. "Yes. Also I know you don't own anything like that so I've arranged something for you."

I grab the toothbrush. "Where is it?"

"Jennie's going to bring it to you when she's done."

I pause. "Jennie?"

"Yes. She has something of your size so when I asked her she said she'll bring it over when she's finished getting ready."

"Oh." I stick my toothbrush in my mouth. The tap seems loud otherwise there is silence for five minutes.

"How did you convince jennie to go tonight?" Dara asks leaning in the door way.

I spit the toothpaste and rinse my mouth. "I told her the truth. She wants to know if her dad is hiding something too."

Dara frowns. "That was a big risk, she could have reacted negatively."

Mouth and face clean I go towards the shower. "But she didn't. She's smart, you know. She knows what good for her."

Eyebrows raised dara hands me a fresh towel from cabinets. "Since when have you thought of jennie so highly?"

I face the shower so dara can't see my expression and I shrug. "I don't know."

"Do you like her?"

My face heats with my heart beating crazy but I am glad I am not facing dara. "She's okay. Nice enough."

Dara hums which clearly says she got something else in her mind but doesn't push me. "Well I am glad you're making friends. I'll leave you to your shower."

I look back to see dara gone. My bedroom door shuts off and I sigh in relief. I don't want dara to know what I feel for jennie incase she won't approve. It's not smart to keep it a secret but we'll I am not the smart one.

After the shower I dress in tank top and cotton shorts. I dry my hair slowly as I sit on my bed and wait for jennie to bring me my clothes. After a while I eventually hear a soft knock. I call out an okay and se hun opens the door directing jennie inside. She smiles softly at me and se hun closes the door. And she takes a few steps forward holding out what I assume is my outfit.

"I hope this is okay." She says laying out a royal scarlet dress on the bed. It's simple beautiful and functional. The bottom pants looks good too no lace or weird stuff.

"It's great." I tell Jennie, picking up the dress. I place it over my arm to take to the bathroom to change and I finally get a look at how Jennie's looking. Her hairs lightly curled the waves flowing about her shoulders and she's wearing barely there makeup. The dress is high necked giving the illusion of an accessory a looks nd the fabric is is pitch black. She looks stunning making breathe get caught. This makes me remember the first time she dressed up. She said she wanted to impress me. I also remember how upset she get when I didn't complimented her.
