Chapter 4

I grabbed his hand. "Yeah, thanks." His hand felt smooth and soft.

"Hey let's go here. Theres not much rain in this spot." We run at the front of the door. I couldn't let go of his hand for a second. "I'm sorry."

"Oh, it's alright." He said with a gentle look on his face.

"Why are you here? It's raining. Why aren't you inside?" I asked.

"I could asked the same question to you too."

There was a moment of silence. We just stared at the rain dropping the ground and making a splash. We were both sitting together and listening at the sound of the rain.

"To answer your question, I always go here almost every day at break. I just like being here. It makes me less anxious and less worrisome, you know what I mean?" He looked at me. I nodded. "How about you?"

I replied, "Same reason." I sneezed a little. My nose were runny and I crossed my arms.

He smiled a bit and said, "Here. You'll catch a cold." He gave me his jacket.

"Thank you-"

Cling dong

Break was already over and it was going to be the next period. "Oh, I guess break's over. Well, I'll see you around." He begun to leave, but I grabbed his arm. "Wait, what about your jacket?" I took off the jacket, but he stopped me.

"Kenchi. Kenchi Sato from grade 10, section 1."

Kenchi Sato. That name is awfully familiar. It seems like I heard it from somewhere. Anyways, he was the same grade as me, but different sections.

"It's okay, you need it more than I do. Go to the nurse's office and take a rest. You can just bring it when you're done using it, okay?" He smiled at me and begun to exit.

"Minari! Minari Takahashi!" I said it out loud.

He looked at me with his eyes widened for a few moment. He smirked and said "I'll see you around, Takahashi-san!" Then, he left.

I felt a bit of joy in this miserable world "O-okay.. Sato-kun!"
