The weather was good, the birds were singing, the sky was blue and nothing could spoil the beautiful day.
The holiday season had started some weeks ago and everyone was enjoying their time of break. The beaches were full and the huge city of Seoul was less busy.
Taehyung was spending his last day at Daegu with his parents before going back to Seoul. He had some matters to take care of before everything goes back to normal.
The book he had been reading was now finished and he felt proud. He closed it and looked up at the sky. Then, he stood up and looked down. His mother had just arrived from the market.
Tae: Wait there. I am coming to help you! He yelled as he rushed downstairs. He took the bags from her hands and smiled.
Mrs Kim: Aigo ah.. That is so hot outside.
Tae: Right? Hahaha. Let me cook those for you. You can rest.
Mrs Kim: What do you mean? This is the first time after so long that you are here with us. I have to take care of you.
Taehyung giggled. His mom was adorable. They walked in.
Mrs kim: Where is your father?
Tae: He is taking a nap. Haha.
Mrs Kim: Hah. Put those there.
Tae: Mom. Go sleep too. I am doing it.
Mrs Kim: Tae-
Tae: Shhh. You go rest now. That is my last day here. Let me cook for you a delicious meal. Mhm?
Mrs Kim: Hah... Alright. Ah.. My back. I am going to lie down a bit then.
Tae: Alright. He said as he pulled out the vegetables and the meat. Here we go.
Some minutes after,
While he was waiting for the meat to cook, he heard his phone ringing.
That was Hyujin.
Tae: Hello? He said smiling softly. He had missed her.
[ Heyyy. How are you ?]
Tae: I am fine. Feeling more relaxed after this days of vacation. Hahaha.
[ Yes right? Me too.]
Tae: How is Taiwan?
[ This is fantastic. I will be back after some days.]
Tae: Cool.
[ What about you?]
Tae: I'll return to Seoul tomorrow. I have some work I have to do.
[ Hah. Taehyungi. But anyway. At least you took time for yourself this year.]
Tae: Yeah..
[ Mhm. I actually called you because guess who is just before me now.]
Tae: Who? He asked as he checked on the food.
[ It's Wooshik.]
Taehyung raised his eyebrows and licked his lips. It's been a while that he didn't hear this name.
Tae: Well yeah. He works there Hyujin. That's pretty normal that you meet him.
[ Hah. Yeah. I know...I can't understand yet why you guys broke up though. ]
Tae: What do you mean why? His work was his lover. What could I do about it.
[ Mhmm.. Anyway. He looks good here. All smiley.]
