In recent years, many food industries, companies and farms dump fresh products that have not been sold ether because their scared, shaped unevenly or any other reasons that people make. Not buying these fresh products immediately translates to throwing them in the garbage somewhere. Dumpster diving is one of the solutions that aide people to not waste good food thou technically it's where a group or organization goes to the farms or companies and reason with them to not throw away and just give them the flawed products so that they can give it to the less fortunate and in need.
First of all, to not waste any more vegetables and fruits, we can go and negotiate with the bosses or leaders of the products to maybe come with a way or plan to conserve the unwanted food. Even though, their scared or flawed in some way, they can still be eaten with the right amount preparation needed. For example, we can open a farmer's market, where people can buy the products in low prices but gets a lot of vegetables and/or fruits they want with a limit. Or maybe even open a soup kitchen that uses the extra or unwanted products, where we can get some of our relatives and friends to volunteer and help us with our goal.
Secondly, of course I know that this project will take some time and effort but I believe if we're patient and have courage, we can do this. Although, I know that we will meet and face some downsides and problems, we must believe in ourselves fully to overcome anything that tries to stop us. It's just like they say 'No pain, No gain'. So, Everyone Fight On!
In conclusion, this is another type of dumpster diving that does good for the people. That is why we must do this activity together to achieve this goal. Just think of this us another family activity that we do daily but this time it's to do good for the people in need and to save the flawed products that are unwanted.
