(Avery is three months old. These are going to be in a weird order)

Charlie carried Avery to bed and turned on her noisemaker.
"Good night." Charlie whispered and rubbed her back.

She fell asleep.

He went to the bedroom to find Nick. Nick smiled at him when he walked into the bedroom.

"She's asleep." Charlie sighed with relief. Nick smiled.

Charlie climbed into bed and laid his head on Nick's lap.

Nick looked down upon him and stroked his curls gently. He could tell that Charlie looked worn out.
"You look tired," Nick pointed out.
"I am. Very." Charlie sighed.
"I know, baby." Nick stroked Charlie's nose playfully. Charlie giggled.

"You're the best father Avery could ever ask for." Nick smiled.
"Eh. Maybe not the best, but pretty close." Charlie laughed.

"Definitely the best." Nick smiles.

Nick lifted up his legs and kissed Charlie gently. He stroked Charlie's chin.
"I love you," Nick smiled sweetly.
"I love you too." Charlie smiled.
