"Ow- fuck, not so hard, dammit!" Kiyochi snapped, glaring at her partner in crime. Rockabiee sighed as she stopped dabbing the warm cloth on her friend's stomach. "Just be happy you didn't die on me back there, idiot." Huffing at her comment, Kiyochi focused on the Tv in front of her. "Breaking News, we are now informed that the quite popular hero known as the Summoner has done it again, stopping reckless villains from causing chaos to the city of L'amdāunik-g. I'm Katie Thomas, CLV News."
"Villains my ass." Rockabiee mumbled, carefully applying the antibiotic lotion onto the large bruise. "Right, I mean he started it." The brunette replied, glaring at the blaring screen in front of her. Feeling slight pressure on her wound, she glanced at Rockabiee, who's eyebrows were furrowed before she sighed in relief. "Okay, this should stop the bleeding for now at least." She said, implying to the large gauze wrapped around her stomach.
"Just try not to move around too much." Rockabiee said, causing Kiyochi's eyes to shoot up to her own. "And leave all the chaos to you, fuck no!" She retorted. Rockabiee rolled her eyes playfully. "To be fair, you're the more villainous one." The bee lover scoffed, "You're acting like that's a bad thing." She said, glancing at the clock. "Hey, it's almost 10, you wanna order takeout?" Rockabiee hummed in reply, pulling out her phone.
"Panda Express, right?"
"Obviously."

"I can't keep living like this!!"
"For the love of god- Kiyochi you just woke up!"
Groaning in both pain and boredom, Kiyochi pouted in her bed, waiting for her breakfast in bed tray table. "Rockabieeee!" She whined, snuggling deep under the bed covers. Hearing muffled curses and yawns, the door finally opened to reveal a tired Rockabiee, with eyebags that looked like black eyes. "Why the hell- did you stay up all night writing your novel?!" Kiycohi exclaimed in annoyance and slight concern. "I have a problem, I know, now, what do you want?" She groggily asked, leaning on the door frame for support.
"Breakfast please." She said with a toothy grin. "Coming right up, your Royal Highness.." she said, lazily saluting before heading towards the kitchen. Only a few minutes later did she return with a tray of buttered toast with a side of two eggs. Beside her glass of chocolate milk was a small vase of flowers. The brunette raised her eyebrow at the flowers. "What am I, your mother?" Scoffing, Rockabiee left the room.
"Okay then, no food for you."
"Wait, I'll accept your corny ass flowers!"

"Well, I'm off, call me if you need anything." The dark skinned girl said, grabbing her phone and car keys. "Where are you going-?" Kiyochi asked from the couch. Rockabiee turned her head to her friend. "To work...did- did you not know that I have a job??" Lifting her hands up in a surrendering manner, she shrugged. "Have a good day, then, I guess?" The braided haired girl refrained herself from facepalming, instead, putting on her shoes and heading out the door. "I'm serious, call me if you need anything, don't do anything stupid or stubborn." She said one last time, only receiving a middle finger from her friend. Upon hearing the soft click of the door shutting, Kiyochi heard the muffled voices of both her roommate and their landlord; probably about their rent. 'Old asshole' She thought, narrowing her eyes at the door. When the voices ceased, Kiyochi slumped deeper into the worn out couch, letting out a breath. Moving her gaze from the Tv, she attempted to grab the remote in front of her, resting on the wooden coffee table.
"Fucking hell..." She said, heaving an exhausted sigh. "I feel weak as hell...and I'm hungry." She mumbled, turning to the kitchen cabinet. She stared at it for a moment, contemplating on how she would be able to grab a quick snack without loosening the bandages. Letting out an annoyed groan, the girl slumped back down into the couch. A minute passed. Then two. Kiyochi had been staring at her phone on the coffee table, silently trying to make a hard decision. To call or not, that was the question. "Fuck this.." She muttered.
Slowly and carefully, she sat up just enough, paused, and stood up. Almost instantly, she felt a sharp pain in her lower half. Being the stubborn girl she was, she ignored it and ambled towards the nearby counter, almost collapsing onto it. "Well fuck me..." She muttered, staring down at her once porcelain white bandages, now coated with a crimson red.Carefully grabbing her stomach, she pushed her weight onto the counter, she took soft but ragged breaths to both calm herself down and stop the rush of blood. "Where the hell does 'Biee keep the bandages?" She asked herself, suddenly grunting at the sharp pain inside of her.
Removing her hand from her stomach, her eyes widened at the splatter of blood dripping from her hand and onto the ground. "Dammit Kiyochi, you should've waited." She degraded. The sudden feeling of exhaustion overcame her, leaving standing alone a workout. Suddenly, the ding of the doorbell caused Kiyochi to look over. "Ugh, damn landlord.." She said, limping towards the door. With every step she took, her vision got blurrier. The metallic taste dripping out of her mouth like drool and the occasional cough of blood barely allowed the girl to turn the handle and crack open the door. Poking only her head out, the girl's eyebrows furrowed at only seeing cars drive by on the highway a few meters away. "The hell?" She said with a cough. Looking around her eyes fell on a small jar on the welcome mat below her. As she looked closer, she noticed a small note tied to it. Slowly and steadily, she bent down just enough that she wasn't squatting, but able to pick up the jar.
Examining it in her blood dried hand, she squinted her eyes to read the note, most of it being blurred due to her current condition.
DRINK IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT YOUR DEATH
-A
Who the fuck...?" The girl muttered. Focusing her eyes on the liquid, which was a not so promising shade of seafoam green. Hesitantly staring at it, she glanced at her phone on the coffee table, she turned back to the assumed potion in her hands. Sighing softly, she opened the cork stopper. "What have I got to lose, anyway." She said, before downing the potion. As expected, it tasted horrible, like pickle juice mixed with some sweet yet tangy substance. "Ah- Fuck!" She said, spitting out a bit of it in disgust.
Dropping the jar, she let it fall to the ground. Yet, this wasn't because of her disgust, she suddenly felt weightless, in both a good and bad way. Before she knew it, Kiyochi felt a sudden pain in the back of her head, her body limp.

"Kiyochi, I'm home, I got takeout-" Rockabiee paused as she noticed the small glass shards in front of her feet. Looking around, her eyes fell on the splatter of dried blood on the ground as well as the counter. Feeling her blood go cold, she rushed to put the food on the counter. "Kiyochi, Kiyochi!" She exclaimed, looking around the house. Finally heading into the bedroom, she stopped mid call and flinched hard.
There, sprawled on the bed, was her roommate, lazily scrolling through her phone. Noticing her presence, she sat up. "Oh, hey you're back-" Feeling arms wrap tightly around her, the brunette was caught off guard. "This is new?" She said, awkwardly patting her back. "Jesus, I was so worried about you, why the fuck did you move from the couch?!" The dark skinned girl asked, sighing in relief.
"Because I was tired and a bit cramped." Kiyochi replied, shrugging. Rockabiee stared at her in disbelief. "How??" She emphasized. Her roommate mumbled an 'oh' "Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I died for like twenty minutes."
