Differences

Chapter 1

"Alex come here" Tyler shouted from the bathroom.
I walked up the stairs and into the bathroom to see Tyler had blocked the toilet with baby wipes.
"Look at this twat" laughed Deshawn who was slouched by the door, staring at me, I turned around and gave him a screw. Deshawn has had this sort of crush on me since he came to stay here, he's confessed his 'love' to me a couple months ago, let's just say the look on his face as the cold hard rejection hit him was amusing.

"Don't worry I'll get this sorted." I said as I picked Tyler up and took him back to my room, obviously I left the toilet for somebody else to deal with, am I cleaner? No.

Tyler and I chilled until dinner was ready, i spend most my time just playing with Tyler in my room making sure he's alright, and stays away from the neeks downstairs.

"Do you think mummy is coming back?" Tyler turned around and asked me.
I stared at him, thinking of an answer.
I knew his mum wasn't coming back for him, stupid bitch left him in a box with a packet of crisps on the street. Makes me wonder how sick some people are to leave such an adorable child behind.
Tyler is mixed race with cute baby curls on his head, he has a really chubby face with these massive brown eyes.

"Don't worry about mummy, you have me, I love you." I smiled.
He went back to playing with his Toys, seeming satisfied with the answer I gave.

"Dinnerrrrrr" shouted Carol from downstairs.

At dinner I sit next to Tyler and this fat bitch Karen, she's annoying, got into a fight with her because she wouldn't move herself off the sofa so I could find the remote, utter stupidness.

Dinner has to be the worst, if you ain't quick enough you don't get fed basically, I always make sure Tyler has food, because the others act like wild animals, and i don't want Tyler to go without. I sat there eating some rice, because that's all that was left, when some nasty smell hit me, I turned my head and stared at Karen, swear she's trying to kill me off.

After dinner Tyler and I were in my room, but at 7 I put Tyler to bed, which is across the hallway.
I watched him as he played, i checked my phone, i had a message from Amelia, my bestfriend at school.

Yeah but I need to pick up Tyler from nursery and then I'll need an excuse to come out with him x

I look at the time and it's 7 so I got up and took Tyler into his room, I tucked him in and said goodnight.
I walked towards the door.
"Will you be my mummy?" Tyler asked me.
"I'll be the best mummy you ever had" I smiled at him and turned off the light.

I went downstairs to go ask Carol if I could take Tyler to the park tomorrow.
"As long as you are back here by 5 thats fine" she said.
"Thankyou" I said and hugged her.

I went to my room and called Amelia to tell her I could come tomorrow.
I scrolled through my phone for a bit and then got tired so fell asleep.

My alarm went off at 6 to get ready for school, I looked in the mirror, my hair was in a state. I was half cast, so I had quite bushy hair which I always seemed to straighten, it was basic and easy, I do my makeup which included one layer of foundation, eyebrows and mascara, my school is sort of strict with makeup so I tend not to over do it.

I put on my school uniform and put my Kickers on.
Quite a few kids from my care home got to my school, but they're all younger years, i am in year 11 same as Deshawn which normally means he walks to school with me, which isn't a good thing, he always talks to me.
This morning I was able to sneak out before he caught me, thank god!
I quickly went into Tyler's room and kissed his forehead. "I'll come and pick you up later, yeah?" I whispered.
He nodded and fell back asleep.

I walked down the road to the bus stop and waited for my bus to arrive.
