We were walking by the bridge to the viaduct entrance when someone came running from behind us, calling out Sebastian's name. We turned around and saw Zenobia Noke catching up to us. Ugh, that annoying little girl who had bothered me last year over her silly little gobstones. What does she want this time?

S: "Hey, Zenobia," Sebastian greeted her casually.

Z: "Hi, Sebastian. I just wanted to wish you good luck for the Quidditch match," she said, looking up at him with her hands locked in front of her chest.

S: "Thank you, but the match is days away," Sebastian replied, clearly confused.

Z: "I know. I wanted to be the first one to wish you luck," she swayed her shoulders back and forth. Then she looked at me as if she hadn't noticed I was there. "What are you doing with her?" she asked, giving me an annoyed look. It seemed like someone hadn't gotten over me stealing her gobstones.

S: "This is Brianna. She's my friend," Sebastian said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, which seemed to shock Zenobia.

Z: "Oh, I know who she is. If I were you, I would find better friends," she replied in a disgusted tone before turning on her heels and walking away.

S: "What was that about?" Sebastian furrowed his brows, watching her walk away.

B: "You know Zenobia, always being annoying," I rolled my eyes.

S: "She was always nice to me," he shrugged, looking confused.

B: "Really? Zenobia Noke being nice?" I was shocked.

S: "Yeah, we played a couple of games of gobstones last year," he shrugged as if it was nothing.

B: "And you didn't mind losing to her?" I looked at him inquisitively.

S: "Losing? I didn't lose to her," he replied, puzzled by my question.

B: "What? Zenobia never loses a game of gobstones," I said, now puzzled myself. How could Sebastian be the only one who could beat her in a game? He had told me he would always lose to Anne when they played.

S: "I'm confused," Sebastian said, looking up at me with his adorable confused expression. Suddenly, it all made sense to me.

B: "Ohhh... I know what's happening here. She has a crush on you," I said, giving him a little shove with my shoulder.

S: "What? No, she doesn't," he protested.

B: "Yes, she does. You're the only person in the school that she's nice to, and I bet she let you win those games," I teased him.

S: "That's... whatever," he shook his head.

B: "Mister Sallow, popular even amongst second years, I see. It seems like I have even more competition than I thought," I jokingly twisted my nose.

S: "There's no competition. There was never even a contest. You've claimed my heart the day that you bested me in that duel," he said, grabbing me by my waist.

B: "Really?" I said, surprised, while looking up to meet his gaze.

S: "Yes, really," he smiled.

B: "And you claimed mine the day you took the fall for me at the library," I felt my cheeks getting warmer.

S: "Well, I couldn't let old Scribner get in my way to your heart, now could I?" he pulled me close and kissed me gently on the lips.

"So that's what you two were doing all morning, haha," we heard a deep voice and quickly pulled away from each other.
