After boys perform the next day the kids were assigned their consolers.

Melody: okay, I can't look, please tell me who I have
Flynn: okay *looks and squeals* yay!
Melody: what is it something good?
Flynn: not you for me. I got Tess Tyler
Melody: good luck with that, now what about me? Did I get any of my brothers?

Just then Liv and Gigi came by to interrupt the girls.
Liv: step aside ladies. I probably got Shane
Flynn: and who are you?
Liv: I'm Tess Tyler baby sister duh
Flynn: that's amazing, your sister is my mentor
Liv: wonderful! You'll love her everyone else does
Gigi: and I'm Gina but go by Gigi, my sister won the last final jam
Liv: *looks* seriously I get the brainless guy of Connect 3
Melody: excuse me, that's my brother you're talking about
Liv: sorry didn't know they had a sister
Melody: cause I'm not in the spot like them
Liv: probably for the best

Melody went to charged at her but Flynn pulled her back and said.

Flynn: calm girl.
Gigi: I wonder who I got *looks* it's better than nothing
Liv: whoever it is I want a trade
Gigi: who's Barron?
Flynn: that's my brother
Gigi: ewww I got a dancer. Who made this awful list
Flynn: hey! My brother can also sing. He's the one that sang Hast La Vista at the final jam
Gigi: amateur
Flynn: *growls* anyways... *to Melody* Who did you get?
Melody: *looks* of course I get Mitchie my brother's girlfriend
Flynn: that's great, Mitchie knows everything music. Plus she is a great song writer and cares about her music
Melody: how do you know that?
Flynn: my brother gave me the heads up on who to look out for at the camp
???: excuse me ladies coming through
Melody: Luke, what are you doing here? I thought you didn't care for this stuff
Gigi: *looks at him with dreamy eyes* who are you?
???: I'm Mitchie's younger brother and for your information. I didn't want to be out here but my mother forced me to go make new friends, so I'm here
Mitchie: well... you're not my friend  that's for sure
Luke: I wouldn't be so sure about that. I got your brother Shane as a mentor
Shane: you got to be kidding me *to Mitchie* was this your idea?
Mitchie: I swear it wasn't I had nothing to do with the list
Melody: must have been Uncle Brown, he probably thought Shane would be a good mentor on him, because when he came to Camp Rock 2 years ago with bad attitude you changed him
Shane: I didn't have a bad attitude
Mitchie: yeah you did Shane. So which one of you am I mentoring
Melody: that would be me of course. It would be an honor to work an amazing song writer like you. You see I want to be song writing process myself, my mom use to write songs for Connect 3 and I want to follow in her steps but my brothers won't let me because they said I'm not ready for the music industry
Mitchie: Shane!
Shane: what?! She isn't. I don't want her have her dream crushed when the record company tells her she isn't good enough
Mitchie: why would you say that?
Shane: because they thought I wasn't good enough and I don't want them to break her heart. I was only trying to look out for her
Melody: awww Shane... I didn't know that, why didn't you guys just tell me that
Shane: we didn't want you to lose your passion in song writing sweetheart
Melody: but I won't know if I won't be good enough if you guys don't let me try, please...
Shane: *sighs* alright kiddo
Mitchie: come on Melody, I'll explain you some tips and trick I learned
Melody: okay
Mitchie: be nice to my little brother *kiss Shane*
Shane: I would be nice if he wasn't such an wo-
Melody: what was that Shane?
Shane: n-nothing...

Melody shrugs and goes off with Mitchie.

With Shane and Luke:
Luke *looks around Brown's house* got some nice place around here
Shane: thanks, my brothers and sister use to hang out at Brown's cabin all the time
Luke: your sister... she's something
Shane: don't get any ideas
Luke: what I was just saying...
Shane: so why are you really here?
Luke: why you want to know?
Shane: because I'm dating your sister and I might end up being your brother in law one day
Luke: one day, not today, big difference. Plus I don't have anything to tell you
Shane: sorry didn't mean to pry. Just that, your sister said you got in a lot of trouble so I need to make sure I'm not working with...
Luke: a serial killer?
Shane: no someone who doesn't care
Luke: I care
Shane: oh do you? What do you care about? Seems like you don't have a care in the world
Luke: I care about my family
Shane: if you care about your family so much, why do you give them so much grief
Luke: Mitchie told you that?
Shane: *sighs* she didn't mean in that way
Luke: what exactly did she mean?
Shane: that you give your parents a hard time...
Luke: look I know I'm not easy to get along with but I actually do care for my family. I just been through a lot that they don't understand because they never lost a loved one before
Shane: who did you lose?
Luke: my best friend, to cancer
Shane: oh I'm sorry I didn't know
Luke: we did everything together, she would keep me out of trouble
Shane: so... she basically influenced you to be a good person
Luke: yeah I guess. I wasn't always that bad
Shane: yeah I get it. I shouldn't judge anyways, I can also relate, before I met your sister I was a jerk
Luke: yeah... it was all over the news, my sister was obsessed with you. Don't tell her I said that she will kill me
Shane: agreed. So... will stop giving your family a hard time and let's work on a piece together and make them proud
Luke: okay

Shane held out his hand to fist pump and Luke just looked at it and said.

Luke: what are you doing?
Shane: fist bump? Do kids not do that anymore
Luke: not really, but eh if you still do it the girls will like it because you're a musician after all
Shane: thanks, you know what kid, you're not so bad after all. I think will get along just fine
